I purchased this computer to replace my 15" that died. I love the lighter weight of this one. It does everything I need it to do and more. I love the Macs because they last about 3 times longer than any PC I've owned in the past.

Mac Powerbook. There is no substitute. What other brand is there?

I got this laptop because I am about to enter college and I loved the look and weight and design of this computer. The only downside of this computer is the speaker system, its very low and even at the maximum it's still not very loud.

I am a new user to Apple. My son has had an Apple computer now for over 8 years getting his second bachelors degree. He was the one who pushed me to get one. He now wants a newer version and is waiting to earn the funds!

Every review is so subjective, as it really depends for what you are using your laptop. I bought this laptop for some university courses I am taking, for email, light photo editing, and web browsing. Could I have gone with cheaper laptops to do so, absolutely. However, I like the design and software (plus I have been using Macs since almost 20 years) and therefore forged out the extra money for this one. I absolutely love it and have not regreted my decision.

I am so glad I made the switch! I am learning Mac and loving it! Now I feel complete, with my Mac Book, IPhone and IPad, Everything can connect. I have a lot to learn, but enjoying it. It is so light and pretty easy to learn.

I bought a Mac desktop in 2011. We have never had a virus since owning it. So, when my daughter was getting ready to leave to go to college, it was an easy choice. She wanted the best...the MacBook Pro. She loves it!!

This is not my first MacBook. But it never ceases to amaze me that when you look at the box you know you are getting something special. I love the build quality speed and overall experience. It is truly a premium product.

This newer model (2017) has definitely stepped up its game from previous models. From its physical design to software and programming. Definitely recommend if you're trying to get your hands on a laptop for your everyday need/use.

Love my MacBook Pro. Not cheap but worth every penny. I would buy it again if I needed to. So easy to use if you're new to the mac world and tired of the PC BS of viruses.
