I loved Windows. Even had Windows phone at one time, but when my 8 to 10 conversion messed up both computers I used and two local shops couldn't fix I started looking. Took one computer back to 8 only to have Windows do an auto update back to 10 that I didn't catch. More problems. That did it for me. Bye Microsoft Hello Apple all way now. Bought a Mac book pro, first week getting used to, almost took back but didn't want my Windows problem back so kept adapting. Now week 4, love dragging and dropping documents, even use as my phone, all dates sink with IPhone And I Watch I have. Still learning but love way it works. Sure glad my friends talked me into switching. My Best Buy guy made choosing right Mac easy and was very helpful.

I love this MacBook Pro top to bottom. The Space Gray is so stylish and in true mac fashion it's user friendly and has so much to offer. This is my first Mac purchase after using them at work. I'll never go back!

This MacBook Pro is amazing. It is very light compared to my previous computers. The machine wakes up almost instantaneously and is ready to work. The retina display is amazing especially when viewing next to my old laptop. I was a little nervous about only haveing the USB-c port but the Apple adapter cable is inexpensive enough and you can buy cables to attach to anything if you don't want to use an adapter. I purchased a Bluetooth mouse that works well and I think I use it mostly out of habit because the multitouch trackpad on the MacBook Pro is probably easier than using a mouse once you learn how to use it. OS X is easy to learn and works very well. Overall great machine, great purchase and worth what you pay for it.

I bought it for college and I love it. I do online classes and this laptop is small, light and I like the fact it is all linked to my I phone. I love that I can face time at the same time I'm doing homework.

Bought this for a friend who never used a Mac before. He loves it! It's the same weight as a MacBook Air, the Retina screen is so clear and brilliant, and it's so fast, even with an emulator. Highly recommend!

Bought the laptop for my wife who previously had a MacBook air. She has no complaints. I wish it had more than two usb c ports

I bought this to take to work. It is so light, fast and has great graphics. All my systems sync together which is such an advantage. Have been always a PC girl but have officially transitioned to a Mac girl.

The computer is fast and love the clarity of the screen. It has been difficult to figure out to hook up a second monitor using the Lightning port. Ther is a special adapter that has USB and HDMI ports on it.

I'm a teacher, and grad student. This computer is the best for a multitasker! It's fast, portable, and I love that it syncs to my iPhone. For writing lessons, or making videos, this computer is amazing!

I am very happy with my purchase. Got it for my son and it was a great value. Cheaper than at the Apple Store. My son loves it and finds it very easy to use. Battery life is great and it is light weight.

Work or play this laptop has been a great daily driver on the road. Sure there are cheaper laptops with monster dGPU's and full fledged quad cores but I was looking for something aesthetically pleasing and the Iris 540 is no slouch either (faster than NVIDIA's mobile 940M). You're also paying the price premium for a laptop of arguably better build quality, there aren't many unibody laptops. The internal design of MacBooks has also been something attractive with how compact the board designs are allowing for maximum battery capacity. I run a virtual machine in Parallels for work and it runs flawlessly and I must say I'm impressed with the monster PCIe SSD that they've used in this iteration. I'm used to quick machines with personal built gaming towers and I must say it's a night and day difference between SATA and PCIe based SSD's. This laptop feels faster in daily usage than my current desktop that has far more processing horsepower. Now as far as gaming performance you do need to manage your expectations but I play MOBAs and Rocket League just fine on medium settings. The only this I wish they did with this machine is give it DDR4, it would have boosted GPU performance a good deal.

I have had my macbook for several years now and still am very happy with it. Mac > PC. I love the usability, faster, smarter and lighter! And several years later still love it!

I chose this laptop because I had an older version and was accustomed to how it works. I like the size as is very light, easy to use and easy to take anywhere you'd like because of the size and weight.

This is a nice computer - great screen, outstanding speakers, excelent build quality, fast enough for most everyday computing needs, The downsides are that it is bit heavy for this price class of computer (over 3lbs) and that you need port adapters to do everyday things like connecting to a monitor, reading a memory card/usb stick etc.

I bought this computer after my old MacBook Pro from 8 years ago started running slow. I love how this new MacBook Pro is so fast and also so light! Much easier to carry with to classes and to work.

I completely converted to apple a little over 2 years ago and I am not going back. I love my MacBook. I had an air before I bought the pro and it still worked like the day I bought it 2 years later. So when I saw a MacBook pro sale I had to jump on it. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. The 2 USB 3.0 ports were a little bit of a disappointment. I really miss having the magnetic charger. I also thought that it was kind of a cheap move to remove all ports except usb 3.0 and then make me purchase adapters for everything else. Some of the adapters should have been included. The machine runs well and I never have any problems with it. I will be sticking with apple for many years to come.

Macbook is the way to go. I miss the disk drive and USB but I guess the way of the future is cloud storage...if I would have thought this purchase through a little more I may have bought MacBook air

After 25 years of PC use, I am changing back to a Mac. Was worried about the navigation on the MacBook Pro, but it is crazy intuitive. Great display, fast enough, easy to use it is just what I need.

This laptop is super fast and has great retina display. only downside is you have to buy a dongle to attach any usb or anything else but its not that much of an inconvenience. super lightweight too.

I purchased my first Mac book pro in 2014! Unfortunately the hard drive crashed and I really really wanted to keep my mac as i never had any problems AT ALL! I looked into the Mac books to see what was currently out. One major thing that got me was harddrive space increased drastically! I needed that! Much brighter MUCH Louder! MUCH LIGHTER!!!! It's Mac book pro 13" 2014's little brother!!! I wanted something identical to my original Mac with minor upgrades! I got exactly that!
