I bought this after my Toshiba crashed and I am glad I did. Is it overpriced? Slightly. Will it last and run better than a Windows? Absolutely. I know I made a good purchase with this. The display is breathtaking. The keyboard backlight is amazing. I am loving the software more than the Windows. This computer will last longer than most marriages. The only complaints are the price and the keyboard being loud.

A year prior to purchasing this laptop, I had purchased a brand new HP laptop for school. The HP wound up being a mess so I decided to spend the money on a Mac. Best decision. This laptop is much faster and more reliable than any other laptop I've had.

Took some time to learn all about it, and it’s totally worth every penny.

Bigger battery than the touchbar version and better screen than the MacBook Air. The screen is stunning and worth the price alone. This was the perfect replacement to my MacBook Air and was able to buy an iPad as my "touchbar" for the price difference.

I find it easy to use and its pretty fast, overall happy with my buy, good investment.

I LOVE my MacBook Pro! I did a couple months of research before buying this computer and I made the right decision of buying it. I use it mostly for college and it works great! Watching movies and editing videos on it are also great! Great computer!

The thing I love most about Macbooks is that they just work out of the box. I got the chance to use this for a good week and a half until I realized the battery life never lasted more than 6-7 hours. The keyboard was too flat and hard to use, I felt weird cramps after a while. It's like touching on a touch screen except much louder. The 2 USB-C ports were lacking We are still in a USB-A world, so I think Apple is being a little too progressive by omitting everything all together. The fan would turn on and run super loud when I was transferring some files between folders. Overall just a lot of small problems that really bothered me after the rose-tinted glasses came off. I would advise those in the market to wait until the end of this year to see if a new model gets released, maybe a better keyboard (butterfly gen 3?), extra ports, and an actual battery life as advertised.

This computer is used by my 84 year old father-in-law. He is doing really well with it! He was a little concerned about how slippery it was but we got him a case and it is working great now. Mac's are so easy to use and reliable. Great computer!

This device made it very easy to switch from a PC. It's user friendly and very capable in all areas of computing. The retina display gives wonderful pictures. Keyboard and trackpad are extremely responsive. Safe to say I'll be a Mac user for life.

Very happy with my purchase! Im a nursing student and wasn't sure if I would use this much especially because I only have one year of school left. However I have been using this like crazy for my care plans and it has made my life so much easier.

Of course Apple has done it again giving lower specs for a higher price. With a 2.0 ghz Intel i5 6th gen, you should expect to be able to run basic programs, really pushing Adobe CC and FCP if you're going to be running those. I'm sure it was purposely done on Apple's side to have the 2.9ghz processor about $300 more, but if you've got the money, I definitely suggest that upgrade (with touch-bar.)

I've had the early 2014 MacBook Pro before and gave it to my sister. I was hesitant to get this model at first coming from the previous model (mainly because of its ports having only a few USB-Cs) but I learned to love this device eventually.

I love it!Great for students and everyone. Its little different from my 2009 MacBook Pro, but easy to use. I really love how easy it is to carry since its not heavy at all. Still getting use to the keyboard its different from the past ones.

Its a good laptop for a college student, its a good until I graduate.

Switched from PC for home office, couldn't be happier. Took a few YouTube tips and tricks videos to learn all of the features, but would tell anyone looking for a laptop, buy this one. Add the Magic Mouse if you are going to use for business.

This is a great computer for the money. I own both this one and the 13" Touch Bar version, and I really wouldn't recommend the Touch Bar model with 8GB of ram over this one. I don't really notice a huge difference when editing photos on either.

I’m never sorry with an Apple purchase. Meets my needs, easy to use.
