Bought this for my daughter for college.

The learning curve hasn't been difficult as she was used to her phone. A quick online search seems to always help her through any question she may have.The new ports were worrisome at first but she only needed one USB adapter so far. Keyboard is responsive and okay. The student discount really helped to make it possible.

7 months and counting ...

This was my first MBP and had purchased this Mac OS is native Un*x. Must say that after getting acclimated with the OS after using Windows 10, the MBP is growing on me. The quality of the hardware is second to none. The only real issue I've been experiencing has been the occasional excessive heat that gets generated to the left and right of the touchpad making it uncomfortable for resting my palms. Apple support and the Genius Bar has found no issue with the laptop so far and all diagnostics pass including the fan. Other than that, been enjoying the MBP.
