I am a college student. Although people say do the air because of the longer battery time, I am happy I went with this purchase. The battery life is long enough for me. I am okay with charging my computer once a day if needed. I love the updates to microsoft that allow me to make direct modifications to the lecture notes. The speed of this computer is great as well. Highly recommend.

I love how light weight this laptop is and I also have an iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple Watch and I love that they all intertwine and can work together!

I returned the Touch Bar version and purchased this one and saved myself $400. I really like having the function keys over the touch bar because I don't have to press the volume key and then wait for it to expand so I can use the volume slider or brightness slider. The function keys will allow me to just press the dedicated key and I can raise or lower the volume easily. The only difference other than the touch bar is the processor speed and more ports. The speed is really no issue as you will barely notice the difference the two models. Plus you get to save $300-$400 for almost the exact same computer. The touch bar is a gimmick in my book and a lot of people will agree with me.

I spent a lot of time researching whether to get the Air or the MacBook or the Pro and I'm glad I picked the Pro. It's fast and lightweight. It has the capacity I need to multitask through lots of programs and applications. I thought I wanted silver but I didn't want to wait an extra week for in-store pickup so o got the space gray and I love it. Great computer. I'm a huge Apple fan.

So far so good on my new MacBook Pro. This is my first Mac computer, and it has been a fairly easy conversion. I already have the iPhone and iPad, so this was the next logical step when shopping for a new laptop. I'm very happy with how thin and light it is. I was hesitant switching to a much smaller hard drive, but with all the portable drives available, this should be a non issue.

This is a excellent small screen notebook. It is nice and speedy with a beautiful screen and the large trackpad may look odd but using it is nice. The touchbar is actually handy and the more you use it the more you will like it. The limited ports is not a huge deal to me even though I us a lot of ports fairly often. I am willing to use adapters to get the super slim profile.

Mac book pro 13 2016 model - it is very good, sleek and easy to carry. Really like the product. Fast and quick. Screen resolution is very good. Only con is High price

Got it for my wife. Its used mostly for web browsing and light weight work. The battery life is extremely good. Only con is the type c ports and only 2. The charger consumes one when charging the mac. Also typec to standard usb converter needs to be purchased separately. No light indicator on the charging adapter as well. If you can live with these limitations., go for it.

I love my new Macbook. I sized down from the 15-inch screen to the 13-inch, which has turned out to be perfect. The keyboard is the exact same size, so no typing issues plus the benefit of less weight and compact size. My only problem with the design of the new macbook is this version of their mousepad has some difficulties with drag-and-drop of items. Otherwise, solid purchase.

Great Apple product but a little pricy. Size is good, lightweight but a little over priced. I would think about getting a refurbished model before this one.

Bought this on sale (brand new) for President's Day weekend. But on a side note, I bought this MacBook Pro (13 inch w/o touchbar) a week earlier (open-box certified) so that I can test it out first. I love the build quality of this new MacBook Pro, and most of Apple's products in general. All aluminum chassis, thin, and lightweight. I can understand why there are people that have MacBook Pros and Airs that are 4-5 years old. The screen quality is fantastic, especially if you're coming from laptop screens with lower resolution. I'm a student in the health care field, so I can't speak about its processing power since I don't use any professional software or applications. But it is very fast in terms of loading pages on Safari and when opening other applications like mail, iTunes, etc.. Battery life was exactly what Apple promised, around 9-10 hours is what I got while using it. Standby is great as well, about 1-2% lost if left on standby overnight. The keyboard on this MacBook Pro has the same flat design like the 12 inch MacBook, but this keyboard is more responsive, and I don't have too many mistakes when typing. Glad I got a chance to test it out first before committing to the Apple ecosystem long term. This is my first Apple computer, and it is absolutely worth it for $250 off the original price.

Build and screen quality are great! Smooth operation ... I am using Imovie for creating 4K videos and this laptop fulfills my most important needs - screen quality is so crisp and the laptop does not freeze or slow down when I am playing with lots of big files. The only concern is that I had to Thunderbolt adapter to connect to the big 4k screen (that i think is an hassle — Apple should have just left the ports in there along with USB-C port). Still, one gets used to it after some time. Everything else about the laptop is awesome!

This thing is fancy and nice. I'd purchased the super lightweight new MacBook (13"), replacement for the air. It's lightweight and like, the size of an iPad. Awesome, I thought. So convenient, I thought. I wasn't in love with it like i thought I was going to be. The responsiveness of the keyboard was weird, it was a little *too* lightweight, and I just wasn't in love with it. Then, I had a keyboard malfunction. The spacebar ceased to work. I had a homework assignment due the same day. I have to go to Best Buy on a SUNDAY? UGH. All of the civilians are shopping on Sundays! Fortunately, I have a backup machine, so was able to get my assignment turned in on time. The Geek Squad was all, "well, you're under warranty, so we'll take it back." yay! I went back on Monday, and did a little looking around. I saw that the MacBook pro was on sale (extra savings. double yay), so I upgraded. It's not as heavy as my original MacBook Air 13", but it's not as lightweight as the 13" MacBook. It's in between. Size-wise and weight wise. It's fast and responsive, I like the keyboard, and I haven't had a problem with it. I got a screen protector, a keyboard cover, and an outer shell (after market) which seem to be protecting my investment, at least a little bit. Geek Squad FTW.

We bought this after our college laptops finally died. I have been eyeing up a Mac for a very long time and this laptop does not disappoint. First of all, the size/weight is incredible and the screen has a beautiful display. As always, this Mac is very easy to use and I'm sure we will have this as our family laptop for years. I have zero complaints so far.

I LOVE my MacBook Pro! I went in to buy the MackBook Air, but decided to upgrade to the Pro. I am so happy I did! It is incredibly fast and easy to use. This is my first Mac, and I was worried about crossing over from PC, but it was incredibly easy! It is also incredibly easy to transport. If you're hesitating, don't! Best purchase I've made in a long time!

It is truly fun learning to use this laptop computer! The salespeople at Best Buy are all so knowledgeable and helpful. Having been truly frustrated with the old computer, this has been a good experience. Being able to print from the phone from anywhere has been easy to learn. As soon as I'm able I will be going to take the lessons and learn all I can!!!
