I have wanted an appLe for years but just couldn't justify the additional expense. Three hp's later and an absolute dislike for Windows 10. I decided to take the plunge. I will never go back! Lightweight. Perfect size. Love the feel of the keyboard.

We bought this Macbook because our iPad was outdated. We also have an older Macbook but the new one is so much faster. The colors are more vibrant. The only think I don't like which is taking some time to get use to is the key strick is harder. The old Macbook has a much lighter touch. Other than that it's an Apple.

Used fo college business classes. Overall performance solid, love the portability but price is pretty steep for what you get..

I was concerned about new keyboard style since i was coming from a macbook air however after using it for about a month i have gotten completely used to the new keyboard. This is the best value for money notebook unless having windows os is a dealbreaker for you -The display, the weight, the os the apple reliability

Wonderful product! I bought this laptop for my son and he really loves it. He's a college student and entrepreneur so wanted something that was fast but lightweight. It meets all his school and business needs. He carries it with him everywhere. I would highly recommend this laptop. The price was very reasonable.

Received a brand new MacBook since the store associate couldn't find the open box in stock. The new MacBook is amazing - very powerful, so quiet since there are no moving parts, and macOS works so elegantly. Didn't opt for the one with the touch bar as it's not worth the price. Extremely happy with the purchase.

This is my first MacBook and I love it! It's very fast, good battery life, good speaker, good picture, and good keyboard. The only disappointing thing is the lack of ports, but I knew that buying the computer and got a plug in for it :)

The new MacBook Pro was definitely a welcome upgrade. Going from ATA to SSD is well worth the extra expense. I went from 2012 MacBook Pro with 500 GB ATA HD to 256GB SSD. Haven't looked back. Everything is faster - screen is great - Retina display. Start up time is SOOOO much better. Some reviews faulted the keyboard, but I haven't found it to be a problem - honestly I liked the way it felt better in the store than the old style keyboard (what is on the MacBook Air) as did my 13 year old son who pronounced the keyboard as "smooth". I has some question about only having 2 USB C, but I haven't had any issues yet, and at this stage I think by the time I do need something, it's probably going to be available from multiple sources. I'm glad I made the upgrade and Best Buy had the best price around - even better than buying refurb on line. Battery life I swear definitely improved - I can use it all day (mostly in an office setting) and not hit 50%. I'm not streaming video or doing heavy photo editing, but battery life is pretty awesome.

great laptop, not too heavy without feeling like you could snap it in half. the space grey color is amazing and different. the only cons I could see with this product is that there are 2 usb c inputs and thats it, anything else you'll need an adapter, and that the apple logo doesn't light up anymore.

Being a Windows user all my life, I was skeptical of switching over. I thought it would be difficult to get used to, but if you own an iPhone you get the hang of it pretty quickly. One thing I love is that the battery life is great. It usually lasts me all day. Also, it doesn't weigh much so it's easy to carry around (since I take it to my classes). The camera quality isn't the best, unfortunately. But I personally don't use it that much, so it's not a deal breaker for me.

If you know and love pole products , then this is a must buy. If you don't like the lack of ports this is still a must buy and get the adding. It looks great, it feels great, anti works great. I haven't had a problem with any apple product before and this one is just like all the others ,GREAT.

I purchased the base 2016 13" MacBook Pro because I needed an Apple computer for iOS development. I am a computer programmer, so I have a Windows 10 desktop with a beefy video card, an i7 processor, tons of ram and SSD storage, etc., so I haven't tried to use the MacBook Pro for gaming or any other intensive computing tasks, but I have been consistently impressed by the smooth user experience provided by macOS, the excellent build-quality, and the ease of use. I appreciate that Apple's iWork suite (included for free with all new Apple computers) provides capable office applications for word processing, basic spreadsheets, and presentations. If I didn't already have an Office 365 subscription for my Windows 10 computer, I believe iWork would meet my needs. Basically, if you are an Apple fan, or you just want a laptop with excellent build-quality and a smooth user experience (and you don't mind that you could purchase a Windows 10 laptop with comparable or better hardware for less money), this is an excellent machine.

No Magsafe or memory card slot. Many new docs on the way to deliver the speed and functionality. Battery Life is a lie on the apple site. I am running it with windows. Photo shop and many other programs for 5 hours. I like the sleek design, space grey color and speed that I have never had in a device.

I purchased this MacBook Pro to replace my wife's MacBook Air of 5 years. So far so good. The battery life is very good for what she uses the computer for. She gets between 8 to 10 hours of battery life. She loves the Retina Display and how it is only slightly bigger than her old 11-inch MacBook Air.

My current Apple needed a hard drive cable after 8 years of flawless operation. I decided to not only fix the old Apple, but upgrade to this computer. The new computer is lightening fast and has a crystal clear display. Best Buy was less expensive than the Apple store. Very happy with my purchase.

From picture quality to speed, this computer is exactly what I was looking for. It is slim and light, perfect for working in Excel and other data programs for work as well as a movie night in bed. They quality is superb and the stylish look is excellent. Exactly what I was looking for.

for a while I have been debating to either upgrade my iPad Air 1 or my 6 years old MacBook Pro. I'm glad that I was able to take advantage of BestBuy's offer ($250 off) and buy the latest generation of MacBook Pro. It's extremely light weight, with long battery life and great screen resolution.

Bought for my son to take to college. It's what he wanted. Very disappointed that apple has now made ALL the ports usb-c, so nothing can be used with out adapters....just another thing to loose, break or buy. Some adapters are bulky and you cant fit two adapters next to each other so becareful which ones you buy. I knew it from reading the reviews, but you dont realize what a hassle the usb-c is until you need to use an adapter for everything...your mouse, if you want to charge your phone, etc. I can see loosing the adapters because they are small and you have to remove them or its an accident waiting to happen if you forget to remove the adapter and then stick it in a travel bag. Why does apple have to make things complicated? USB is standard, why change it? Unfortunately if you want to keep your apple products you are forced to conform. I took off a star for the inconvenience of having to buy adapters.
