Poor Design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This model has an issue with its keyboard. If a little spec of dust gets in it some of the keys intermittently stop working. It’s a known issue there are several lawsuits against Apple pending this design flaw. Apple has done nothing so far to rectify it.

Garbage laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dont buy this junk. I have been a Mac user for a long time. this is probably the worst computer I have bought. keys went haywire and the screen goes nuts. there is a pending lawsuit with over 25k signed petitions for the same issue.

I would not recommned this AT ALL!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apple did a big mistake by changing the way their laptop were designed and thiers components! They want you tonpay more for the accesorries that you normally and logically shouldn't pay for a MAC BOOK PRO! Wrong business policy!

quality problems
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.failed logic board and SSD after only 18 months. costs as much to repair out of warranty as to buy a new one. was meant to last my daughter 4 years at college. very disappointed.

It stopped working after 3 years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right of the bat, it would heat up but it lasted 3 years without much of a problem until now. It won’t turn on anymore despite having charged it.

Excellent laptop, but not quite worth the pricetag
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The performance on this Macbook is excellent, but the only thing I'm left wanting from it is the option to upgrade my storage, and at least one more USB port. I also feel like it would benefit from a third USB port on the right side of the chassis. Considering that it retails for $1500, I would expect it to have more than just 256GB as the base model. After only two months of owning it, I'm already having worries about the 80+GB I have left. While external storage can provide a relief, it's unfortunate that despite spending a mortgage payment on a laptop I still have to buy extra add ons to give me what it should have stock. At the very least allow users to upgrade their own hard drives if they choose to.

Perfect machine
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a thoughtful research i bought the macbook pro without the touch bar. If you really into coding or development , there is no point in buying a mac with touch bar. Its the same machine with extra feature which you won't use most of the time .The performance is really good. The sound when compared to older macs has been improved. Its more sleek than the older one's but for some reason it feels more like a Macbook rather than a macbook pro.

Redefined and Refined
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's my first new MacBook Pro since purchasing my early 2011, which is still running strong. Form factor is excellent. It is light, runs cool and the battery life is amazing! The keyboard and trackpad feel wonderful. Space Grey is very elegant looking, and thats what really did it for me. Once you see one in person, you will want two. GeekBench Results - Single Core: 2777 . Dual Core: 6947 Impressive performance for the cheapest model. Very excited to order a 15 inch MacBook Pro.

Best computer i have ever gotten
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a long-time windows user, for years even. I decided that I wanted to try a macbook for college. This machine hasn't let me down since. It types super fast, the resolution is amazing, especially the color ranges. I use this for a lot of digital artwork, and this light-weight, thin computer handles all that i need it to. I can carry it in my backpack, and not worry about it ripping thought the bag. Another thing that amazed me was the battery life. I can browse the internet, youtube, and listen to music for hours before i have to recharge it. I sometimes get away with charging it once every day and a half. And thats with hours of usage. I never used to be an apple fan, not in the least. But this computer has changed my mind about that. I'm never going back to windows pc, unless it's a cintiq.

Great blend of performance and mobility
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I run my business off a PC desktop and and my iPhone. I decided to get a Macbook Pro for work on the go and have not been disappointed. This computer can handle my light Photoshop and Illustrator workload and I have not had any issues with the performance. MacOS is truly the most stable of the operating systems out there. Battery Life for me isn't what has been advertised, I am seeing around 7 hours or so with light design work, web browsing and productivity software. That would be my only gripe as the quoted 10 hours would be helpful. My next desktop will most likely be an iMac once those are refreshed and I look forward to working back on the Mac platform after a 5 year hiatus. Pros: Design, Keyboard, Trackpad, Screen and performance (for light design work) Cons: Battery life, need dongles.

Super Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought it for my son who was starting college in a few months. He used the laptop for his personal and school work for all four years of college and after graduation used it for another four years until the battery started dying quicker after a full charge. I guess the top quality allowed him to use it for almost eight years without any issues.

AMAZING 10/10
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would highly recommend this computer to anyone. I had gotten this computer for Christmas and it is absolutely amazing. I had the choice to get the one with the Touchbar but personally, I didn't think it would benefit me. The only thing I don't like about this laptop is the 2 USB-C ports. So I am out $80 for buying a dongle with HDMI 2-USB's, USB-C ports. But, anyways I still recommend it. It is very fast and it will do anything that you throw at it. Before getting this computer I had read many reviews on this computer and the main thing that people didn't like/scared about with this laptop was the keyboard. But, I LOVE IT. I type so much faster on this keyboard it is unbelievable. I love it!

A solid upgrade from MacBook Air
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used a Macbook Air for 3 years but I maxed out the memory and I hated that the screen didn't get bright enough to use outside in the sun. This laptop fixed both of those problems, and creates a few new problems of it's own. Pros: Smaller footprint, thinnest MacBook Pro yet, more standard storage, louder speakers, a larger trackpad, BRIGHTER SCREEN, and a much smaller bezel around the screen. The battery is up to par with my MacBook Air: I got 13 hours today reviewing PDF's and working online. The space gray color also gets me lots of compliments! Cons: Keys are very NOISY while tying. I also don't like that the charging cable has no indicator light to let you know if it is charging or when it is fully charged. I miss the reassurance of the magnetic charger in case I tripped on the cable. The laptop also gets pretty hot while charging. Finally, the automatic screen dimmer just isn't cutting it. All in all, I am very satisfied with my purchase. I know it's a lot of cons, but the pros are the reason I went for this laptop. I'm glad I did!
