Worked well in general, however all of a sudden the display was broken. And as you should be aware, any replacement by Apple costs a fortune.

needed to upgrade to edit 4k video without stuttering and needed a cheaper option in the apple world. invested in a 13 inch i5 with 256gig ssd hd and 8 gigs ram. nicely renders and plays back 4k video. screen resolution is nice as well and color accuracy is industry standard.

I have owned the past 3 generations of MacBooks and this is by far the best one yet. It's design, and overall tech specs are greater than the past product. I would recommend this to people who are using it for video and photo editing, and for schooling.

I own 3 Mac computers. 1 Desktop computers and 2 Laptop computers. My other Mac was from 2009, so I decided to upgrade to a newer MacBook Pro. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I have never had an issue with a Mac before, but needed to upgrade, as things get better over the years. This MacBook Pro is excellent! I use it for college and have all of my Doctorate Papers and Masters papers on it. I would trust this product any day over a Microsoft Windows product. Viruses on these computers are rare and the encrypted security on a Mac is very advanced. If you have personal documents, or just want a quality portable computer, I highly recommend this computer. Apple is known for quality and secure products, and I am proud to be an owner of a MacBook Pro.

I have been a windows user for years. Just last week I decided to make my first mac purchase. It was a toss up between the 2015 mackbook pro and this 2016 mackbook pro without touchbar. As the title states I am going on my 2nd return of this product. The first mackbook was returned due to a flicker I was getting from the keyboard lights. I've had this 2nd macbook for just 24 hours and its giving me keyboard issues. Seems the O key isn't responding at times or it will make doubles and even triples. I am typing this review from this device and i'm having to use the backspace key a lot. I'm hoping the 3rd mac will be the final. The good: The laptop itself is absolutely amazing. The screen is beautiful as it can get very bright. The speakers are epic. They are loud and very clear. Being a window user. I am catching on really fast. The bad: Only thing I can say that is negative is just the issues im having with the macbook. I'm just glad i am within store warranty period. It will be very hard to go back to a windows pc after using mac. :)

This is a beautiful machine. It's performance, build, and display is what you would expect from Apple. The trackpad is unbelievable. I just couldn't justify the price. I ended up returning it and buying the Lenovo yoga 910 for $400 less and had a faster laptop which is a 2 in 1 and has fingerprint sensor.

My $1,700 MacBook Pro purchase receipt, dated four years ago was engraved in my head for the entire duration of the four years I wrestled with it, with the burning "false image" of its alleged longevity branded into my brain. I babied it, kept it protected/in mint condition. I never ate over it or brought drinks around it. Two keyboard replacements. One screen replacement. Multiple visits to the Apple Store. Three repairs shipped out to Apple. Days of hours spent on the phone with Apple Care, troubleshooting, explaining, re-explaining... Unstable hard drive issues that even stumped their pros, and lastly them refusing to fix (unless I paid a ridiculous amount of money AGAIN) their flawed non-functioning butterfly keyboard for the third time. The other day, the hard drive just quit. So did I. This "investment" can now be found at a local landfill, due to its numerous defects, flaws, failures, and the fact that I threw this "lie" as hard as I could outside on the sidewalk after a moment of FINALLY admitting and accepting defeat. I'm generally calm and rational, I don't advocate violence, but in this case... this was beautiful. No regrets. It broke the madness of a endlessly frustrating cycle, and I believe that the MacBook is finally where it belongs.

This Macbook Pro is lighter than the other Mac's. Its great for college! Nothing can go wrong with it!

The only advantages cosmetic, smaller, thinner but really not that different from a similar spec 2015 MBP at this price point. If you want a quality laptop just for general surfing and light office work, then this will suit you nicely but the older MacBook Air and MacBook will work also and they are a bit cheaper. CONS: Didn't like the keyboard Didn't like Safari (slower than Chrome, Chrome even ran better on the MacBook Pro) Not enough ports

I was about to buy the older version MacBook Pro, but the Best Buy guy talked me out of it by showing my how fast this 2015 version (bought in Aug 2016) loads many webpages at once. That was true for about 2 weeks. I am now 7 months in and it literally takes anywhere from 15 seconds to 2 minutes (no kidding) to load pages now. It is like I have gone back 15 years technology wise. I have purchased a cleaning app, I have looked at my memory available and my CPU. Not even close to any issues there. I have tried Chrome, Firefox and Safari. I have updated, and restarted and reloaded browsers. I am now very frustrated.

I bought this to replace my Mac mini that seemed slow and outdated. Couldn't be happier. I did get it when it was $250 off list price.

The MacBook Pro that I bought at the wellington location was working fine but out of nowhere it started logging me out and it was disabled: I end up trading on March 2020, online at the PG Gardens Location, now the same issue I am having and no one seems to help, I feel like I wasted all my money for apple care + paid and full.
