Purchased this for my wife who's a high school teacher to replace a 2 year old MacBook. Nothing was wrong with the previous model but we needed one for our son who just started college, so we gave him the older model. New one is faster, lighter and screen is much more clear.

I am totally happy with this product. It is light-weight and sleek. The performance is also amazing.

A very stunning Macbook to look at. I had high hopes for this Macbook but got the previous model instead due to limitation in ports. Otherwise it is light and portable to carry around. I wouldn't necessarily call this a "Pro" by any means. Better luck next time Apple.

I was in need of a new laptop and stumbled upon the new MacBook Pro! At first having the two ports bothered me, but i realized I didn't really use a USB too often so I rarely use my adapter. Overall, I really like this laptop! It's fast, lightweight, and reliable!:)

I'm an apple fan, and I enjoy all the products that Apple makes. The latest MacBook Pro is fast and portable. It's easy to travel with and gets the job done. I highly recommend this computer as it is solid, and performs better than some of the laptop on the market.

I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro and case. This is my second MacBook Pro and I would never go back to a PC. I love this product; it is so user friendly and fast. With the new lightweight design, I'm able to take the laptop in my oversized purse anytime I want.

My only complaint is no usb ports. Just another way for Apple to make more money.

In 2009 I purchased a MacBook pro for my mother-in-law, and one for my father-in-law. Chalk it up to age, or lack of knowledge of all things internet, but they were bricking their Dell laptops about every 12-18 months. 8 years later, both of their MacBook pros are still running strong. So, I purchased a new MacBook pro for my niece as she heads off to college this fall. The touch bar seemed gimmicky, so I went with the non-touchbar version. Out of the box, it works great. But, nearly every computer you buy will work great out of the box. It is very light, and the screen is amazing. If only Mac OS had the touch screen ability of windows 10, it would be perfect. That said, this review is worthless right now. Revisiting in 3-4 years to see how well the computer holds up would be the best indicator. If history does, indeed, repeat itself, then this laptop will hold up extremely well.

This is our first Mac of any kind. We use the machine for email and internet. I do plan to use it for some home video editing later. This laptop is thin but has a solid feel. The heat output is non-existent so I don't have to worry about having it heat up while on my lap. The screen is very clear and has good detail. The trackpad is very good. it has some nice features. Swiping with two fingers is the scroll function etc... I use it about an hour day for most days. I use it 3-4hrs on the weekend. I think if I tried I could use it all week on a single charge. It has two of the usb-c ports and a 3.5mm for headphones. The power adapter uses one of the usb-c and I sometimes use the other usb-c for an adapter that I use to plug into a monitor and a usb keyboard when I have it "docked" at my home office desk. I highly recommend this and it was a great deal on Best Buy with a $250 discount.

I purchased this MacBook Pro within the first week of it coming out. It's sleek, stylish, fast and capable of doing things far beyond my skill level. As with all Macs, I expect this product to last a long time, making it a bargain for the somewhat lofty price tag.

Great product from Apple. However, not very into the new ports since most devices are USB. And magnetic charger from several years ago is much better than the new ones.

Couldn't be happier with the purchase of my new MacBook Pro. Plenty of storage, really fast, amazing screen quality and portability. No heating up or fan noise, no crashing, or waiting for endless Windows updates, no viruses,...life is great with my Mac!!

Last ten months onwards I’m using Mac book pro it’s was amazing performance

This is my first Mac and it was very easy to configure and the applications are very helpful. The display has a good image and in full of nice colors. I recommend this Mac to any beginner because I received for the price that I was expecting from my buy.

I upgraded from a older mac book this one is much faster and lighter I do miss the USB ports

As a first time mac user and student, this notebook has proven its worth. If you are looking for a efficent device for work/school, this is it. If i could, i would rate it a 4.4 instead of just a 4. Why this isn't a 5 stare for me is due to the price, low number of USB - C ports, and the fact that it's low powered fans cause the laptop to quickly warm up when playng PC games or other high-graphic uses.

I bought this laptop a few months ago and I'm really liking it. I switched from windows to mac so it was a bit of a challenge but there are several short cut keys. It's very user friendly once you get used it .Very fast laptop. Great battery life.
