My last MacBook lasted me 10 years. The new upgrade is nice. As with any apple product, you're paying for design and simplicity of use. In my research, Apple's Touch Bar seemed unnecessary for my needs. This computer will be my daily grinder. Primary uses will be for school and work. Getting use to just the USB Type-C ports will take some getting use to. This MacBook coupled with two monitors is all the screen real estate a person needs. Or you could get crazy and pick up a HP envy curved display with the Bang & Olufsen speakers and have a setup to drool over. Maybe a bit of a overshot for a school and work laptop... but a guy can dream.

First time Mac user still adapting from windows. Like previous laptops Mac Pro 13 suites my needs, a solid built product with good performance so far. I do have to agree, this model sells short on ports for the price, the extra dongles are less portable to me. But hey, they claim its still a Mac, we'll see...

My 08' MacBook has seen better days and needed a replacement. As usual, Apple delivers with a smooth laptop that performs effortlessly. I ding it a star simply because they could have helped us out and added some more ports so we don't have to dongle everything we want to connect for the next couple years.

So happy with my MacBook Pro. I got it after my 4 year old MacBook Air was on its last legs. The pro has a better screen, is light, and powerful. I really recommend it to anyone.

This MacPro is very lightweight and portable but packed with a lot of features you would find in a PC. Be sure to purchase the adapter to be able to have HDMI and USB capabilities.

My previous Macbook got me through 4 years of college without a single flaw. I can not rave enough about the simplicity and reliability of this laptop. I upgraded only because my friend needed a good laptop and did not want to pay the full price for it. All of my friends with cheap starter laptops always had problems and some would even crash during online tests. Therefore, I recommend paying a little extra for a great product that will last. Even though Apple took away the micro sd card slot and usb ports, this is still a great laptop. I also was unhappy that they took away the extension cord for the charger, but I figured I could make due.

Apple simply makes the best electronic products that are incredibly useful and have an ease of use. The computer is faster than I expected and I love the low profile keyboard.

This new Mac is incredibly high tech. It's really light and with lots of power. Super fast! There is no comparison between my 2008 Mac versus this new one. I highly recommend it.

I have had an Apple laptop computer for the last 10 years. I have never had any problems, so it wasn't even a question of what type of computer I would buy my son for college.

Firstly I would like to give my only negative criticism of this product: the lack of USB ports. Other than that, it is the best option for anyone other than programmers who need full compatibility with some specific programs which sometimes are not compatible with Mac OS. Unbelievably, in case of failing, Macbooks can also be easily fixed or upgraded with online tutorials and affordable components, something which is usually uncommon with other brands as there is fewer users/model. I would definitely buy again Apple products from Best Buy as it always has the best price (sometimes lower than Apple.com), especially for students.

I bought this as an update to my 2012 retina MBP. It is lighter and has few ports. I don't think its faster, it has quieter fans. The keyboard takes some getting used to but it is a great alternative to the Macbook and the iPad. I use this instead of my iPad pro now. Still a well made, beautiful machine.

This Mac is one of the best option that you can buy. Excellent speed, long battery life and can handle any application that you want. Perfect choice.

I bought this Mac book 6 months ago in the Best Buy store. I used to have a Windows PC before this. As it was getting very slow I thought of switching to a Mac and once I started using this Mac I am completely satisfied and happy with the product so far. Thank you Best Buy

I waited for awhile to purchase because of the price tag. But after using it for over a year now NO regrets! Simple to use. Lightweight. Worth the cost.

I bought this new MacBook Pro for my son's college graduation. He is going to graduate school next year and needed something with a little more power than his old Windows machine (and frankly, something with a little more street cred) so this was the perfect laptop. He loves the new space grey color and the larger trackpad that's on the new MacBooks and the much faster i5 processors. The screen resolution is AMAZING and moving from a SATA hard drive to a flash-based storage will really make a different when he uses it for work in his chemistry degree. I found the product for $50 less online and Best Buy matched the price. Thanks~

great computer the display is awesome and integration with my apple products was easy and quick. I would recommend the laptop to anyone looking for a small but capable mac.

I bought this laptop to replaced a MacAir, the screen resolution is far greater and brighter, smaller footprint, weight difference is minimal. Very happy with this purchase.

The new Mac Pro is a great upgrade after coming from a 2012 Mac Pro. It's lighter than before and powerful and reliable on top of it all. I love it.

I had the 16gb at work - it seemed faster, but the 8gb gets the job done assuming you're not doing 4k video editing or something. Having only 2 usb-c outlets to do everything is annoying. You have no choice but to buy adapters. Apple - you need to figure out a more elegant way to do this.
