I am very happy with my purchase. It is light and thin with a gorgeous screen and huge trackpad. I wish it had Touch ID but I prefer the function row keys to the touchbar. If it had Touch ID and 2 more thunderbolt ports I would give it 5 stars and label it a winner.

This is an incredibly powerful yet compact laptop. Well worth the price. We upgraded from a 2012 model, amazing improvement and its lighter and smaller

My search for laptop started with 250 dollars options and ended at Mac Pro. It has every thing good hardware, speed, resolution and best battery life.

I had a 2015 late Macbook Pro. I have been comparing these 2 models for quite a while. Lighter, thinner and faster (slightly). Another big change is battery. I don't have exact number but as I remember newer model has around 50Wh and 2015 model is around 60Wh. That seems a lot but actually not. I can barely feel the difference for the battery change and they both can hold the whole day for light use. While with the slight CPU upgrade, I do noticed the huge temperature drop from ~95C to around 75C. I know it's still not the latest 7th generation of Core. That's why it lose 1 star. I am expecting the newer version this year would help for the running hours as well as temperature. Maybe another thing I don't like is USB-C charging. Previous one is convenient and safe. Plugging and unplugging was freaking easy and this is gone for the later model. USB-C plugging you do really need to force it.

Laptop is perfect in size and weight which enables my Son to carry in backpack with ease. Very dependable and easy key strokes with great graphics.

My last Apple computer lasted me just over 6 years. While that is not necessarily a guarantee that this computer will do the same, I certainly think it speaks to the quality that goes into Apple's design and manufacturing. So far, this computer is everything that was promised: he butterfly keys are easy and exciting to type on; the new touch-pad size is more ergonomic and, somehow, less in the way; the new interior redesign has made it as portable as the Air. I've enjoyed my experience with it greatly, and I'm looking forward to the next six years.

Being a previous PC owner, I have totally enjoyed the Mac Book Pro. It is easy to use and runs very fast. I love the retina display. It is so clear.
