I have only been using Macs for about 6 years and they are some of the best computers out there (in my opinion). I have one that I use at work everyday and decided to get one for home

It is so slim and so powerful. This is my go-to laptop for all my work, both creative and professional.

Upgraded from my 09 macbook pro. Theyve come a long way in 8 years. Lighter, faster and top quality build.

I'm a full time nursing student and this is perfect for me. I have a lot of documents that I'm required to submit each week, as well as to read each week. It's pretty perfect for everything that I need.

Bought this guy to replace a Mac desktop I had in rotation for 9 years. It’s been more than adequate as a replacement. The 13” size is great for traveling. I’ve used it for web, photo editing, documents and presentations. Prior to my desktop I had windows based laptops and it had nothing but issues. Spent more time getting worked on than in use. Apple quality is worth the price tag and peace of mind.

So far so good. No complaints. Very light, great display. Curious to see how the battery life holds however, as I have read many reviews that the battery life does not last as long as it is advertised to.

I love the compactness and weightlessness of the new macbook pro. My only concern is that it seems a bit fragile. it took a small fall off of the bedside table, and although nothing appeared damaged on the outside, the LCD was cracked internally. This was a $500. fix. I wish someone would have mentioned that Apple Care now covers damage as I would have purchased it. We have a case on it now and are being extra conscientious about safety.

have only had this computer for two weeks at this point. very satisfied with the aesthetics of the computer, and its portability. took it on a trip out of state and it performed amazingly on simple holiday inn wifi. have not yet tried to connect my iPhone to it or any other external devices so the ports have not come in to play for me yet. overall, extremely satisfied with this purchase and have yet to find a drawback to the new MacBook Pro.

Awesome product, wish it had more ports but really great regardless. Easy to use and great look.

I bought the MacPro Laptop online after much comparison. It has replaced my desktop HP(I'm totally dissatisfied with Windows 10) Best Buy shipped quickly and securely and I love the fact that I can track its journey to me and know exactly which day it will arrive. It was packaged securely inside another box with padding. I love my Apple and am so satisfied with the change. I totally recommend it. Don't be shy to order BestBuy online, they are great.

Birthday gift to someone.. this is now the only computer used. Moves quickly. Easy to navigate.

I have waited for Apple to update the Air line for years with a retina display. They finally did it with this version and called it the Macbook Pro. I understand the price is higher and the specs are not the best and blah blah blah..... For me I wanted a sick screen in a super light and compact build and I got it. Apple has been upsetting me too as of late, but I like this laptop. It serves its purpose for my household. Build quality is awesome.

I am very pleased with this purchase. The size and weight is perfect and just what I wanted and needed.

I know all the hoopla over the new MacBook Pro models and this review is for the non touch-bar version. With Best Buy discount added to an open box discount I saved over $200. Yes it is still expensive, but for me it is an upgrade for a 2015 MacBook Air. As such it is a huge upgrade for me, more memory (Mine only had 4mb--no more beach ball!) and the screen is light years ahead of the old MacBook Air. I even like the keyboard that has been so controversial, it has a nice firm feel to it. The whole dongle thing has not been a big issue for me, I always had to travel with an HDMI and a VGA dongle for my Air anyway to connect to projectors for presentations, so getting a couple of new ones and carrying them around is nothing new. But I love that I can Geta USB C based dock that connects HDMI, Ethernet, USB ports and Memory slots all through one connection. This gives you that ability to have a quick one plug setup for using your MacBook Pro as a full desktop system. Important for someone like me who travels a lot.

Computer is great! Sound and picture quality is great! Very lite weight highly recommend a case or cover.

This new model is thinner, faster & has a better screen than the previous generation. So far, so good!

So far, everything is going as expected for an Apple laptop. It handles all day-to-day work and personal computing without missing a beat, and is very light-weight and perfect for travel. I would have preferred a larger hard drive, but I'm something of a software hoarder, so doubt that others will find 250GB too much of a limitation. I do recommend getting a USB hub for peripherals, ideally one with connectors for older USB devices.
