Definitely an upgrade from my 2009 MacBook. The new specs take a while to get used to. The trackpad is a definite downgrade from previous models. It also doesn't come pre-eqipped with a disc drive or USB, HDMI, or SD ports. It runs great though. It's slim, sleek, and the Retina display looks better than ever. The only things I don't like about it are the few things that I previously mentioned. Besides those, I absolutely love this laptop.

Absolutely floored how well this MacBook works. I replace a Late 2012 Mac Mini with this MacBook, and I am completely satisfied. Battery life has average 8 hours of my workday. Once again, Apple has won my heart.

I love my MacBook Pro. It is dependable which I need because I am a college student.

This computer is really amazing. Once I turned it on it was easy to use and one of the reasons I purchased it was because I don't need to purchase an additional antivirus for it. I would recommend his computer for most anybody who would like one. And it's an Apple product.

Was thrilled to find this on sale at Best Buy! It is near impossible to find Macs on sale! My son has been using it for all his college applications, essays, senior projects, etc., and will be taking it to college with him this fall. As always, another great Apple product!

The lack of multiple ports can be a hinderance but otherwise the machine performs at an elite level.

I would recommend this as MacBook Pro with latest version features are really good!!

I upgraded from a 11" MacBook Air and have been very happy with the new laptop. The build quality is better than the last generation. The keyboard is different, but great once you get used to it. The screen is a huge upgrade. The only thing I really miss is MagSafe.

this is my first laptop. I do not play pc games.i like this r screen, I good clear than most win p c, but it also pricy, the speaker are awesome, I feel it is just some soft not good for os, but the os system is not very pro, just like big iPad,overall ,o recommend it

Bought with a $200 discount. It was a great value for this best looking laptop. However, when play game like hearthstone, it heats up very fast and the fans create loud noise

Purchased this macbook for my wife. She loves the laptop and says it is everything she wanted and expected out of a great line of laptops. Her only complaint was that there was only 2 thunder ports on the one side of the laptop and that, as with many macbooks, there was not a typical USB port and with the new thunder ports you needed to buy adapters to plug in a USB thumb drive. Overall though, a great laptop and worth the purchase.

This Macbook Pro is my first Apple computer purchase in over 20 years. I am very impressed with the performance of this little dynamo! The ecosystem with other Apple hardware is top notch. It's purpose will be web surfing and email with the occasional wow session now and again. I was very amazed at how well the game ran even though the video setting were very low. I look forward to many year of good service out of this machine.

I've had the macbook from 2008 and the macbook pro from 2010. This one is hands down the best one. I love the feel of the keys when I type on it and it's so fast. I haven't used one in awhile so I'm still getting used to the dock. I also LOVE the color space gray.

With the USB-C connectors, flash drive, and latest version of OS X, this is a thin, fast, macbook pro. It has enough resources to get the job done well, and no unnecessary, unwanted stuff. Best Buy made it easy and more convenient than ordering it from apple, too.

Performance was great, but the lack of ports are mostly felt. Anyhow overall experience is good.

Bought this computer to replace my MacBook Air. This computer handles everything that I throw at it and the Retina display is AMAZING!!!. I can't stress this enough. Since I use this MacBook Pro in clamshell mode 80% of the time, the touch bar did not make sense.

My son got the MacBook Pro for his high school graduation. The size, weight, and screen resolution are outstanding! If I had to have a "con" it would be that there are no ports but the salesman at Best Buy helped me find the perfect one to fit his college needs!

Overall, this is a great computer. Even though the old ports have been removed, you can still use your old accessories with use of dongles, which I don't mind. You have to eventually move forward at some point. The battery could use some help. Apple "Addressed" the issue by removing the time remaining on the battery display, but that does nothing to increase the battery life. Besides that one point, love the computer otherwise
