I've always loved apple products. I had my last MacBook for 10 years, but finally needed a new one. This Pro had been the best Apple product yet. I love all of he advances and have had no glitches yet. It also is sleek and clean looking.

Laptop is very thin and portable. Performance is great for school. Looks and feels amazing. Battery life is all day for me on a single full charge.

Great thin size without sacrificing performance. Not compatible with many devices due to the USB-C but easily fixed with an adapter. Great purchase!

Comparing this to my previous laptop, a 2012 MacBook Pro. This one is a beauty. Alarmingly thin and sleek, a very vivid and bright display with a better image than any other device in my house. The keyboard is kind of 'tappy' and condensed, which takes some adjustment but now the keyboard on my old one feels too thick and soggy. The stereo sound is noticeably bigger and more projected. I passed on the new touch bar feature, but the 'duet' app, which makes an iPad function as a second screen for the mac, puts the touch bar on my iPad, and it is useful sometimes. It looks like the ventilation under the hinge is improved which makes it seem safer to run in closed-lid mode. It performs superbly even under a heavy multitasking load (although my 2012 MacBook Pro still performs quite well for the rest of the family). I know the big deal is the lack of any ports besides two USB-C, but I like that design. I went a whole two weeks before I even bothered to get an adapter, the wireless speeds are so fast I was able to transfer things over without any up front need for wires. This opens the possibility for choosing an external hub that meets your needs rather than carrying around a minimum of every possible port. That aspect is not for everyone, but there's plenty of other laptops on the market.

Replaced my wife's old 2011 13" MacBook Pro with this one. The old one was user upgradable for the RAM and HDD. I upgraded those to 8GB of RAM and a SSD, which made a great improvement in speed and bought another ~2 years of usefulness out of that machine. The new Retina screens are amazing though and the jump in speed was significant. For my wife's use she will get another 5-6 years out of this machine easily. The only downside is 256GB storage is on the light side these days. She has a ton of music and photos, so I had to move a good portion of those (put them on our NAS and an external HDD as a backup). Unfortunately to increase to 512GB is a pretty penny and these new units aren't user upgradable. Only reason I removed a star. If you rely on cloud services or are okay with external storage solutions you can work with it though.

Lightweight, good battery, screen is clear. Expensive, but security was a top priority for me and Apple has a good reputation in that area.

The late 2016 Model Macbook Pro outperformance all its previous Mac versions. Moving from Windows to OS X was a difficult choice, but i felt thats a great choice moving forward. I am not comparing Windows with MAC as both has its own Pros and Cons. I personally fell MAC to be more optimized in the way works. Excellent battery, brilliant sound system , great display. I cant comment on the touch bar as i brought the basic version ( without touch bar). Its been a month using my Mac, i fell loved to used it. Great work Apple !!

I would not want any other product to do what I have to do on a daily basis. I am a college student taking 22 hours of class and love this computer. It is by far the best one I have ever owned. I bought it when during the President's Day Sale. They had a promotion going on where they took of $250 off the $1,500 price so I took advantage. This is my second MacBook Pro and I do not want anything else. Just an amazing product. It has never frozen up or gotten warm on me like PC's would. I would recommend this product to anyone...

I am new to Macs, so the learning curve is new as well. I like that the Mac OS system is very similar to iOS on the iPhone and iPad. Learning to use programs like Word is harder because the functions are not the same. The computer itself is nice and light. I miss the ports like USB. It just has two USB-C ports and you need an adapter for just about everything. I bought a USB adapter so I could use a mouse or external DVD drive. I also miss the fact that the glowing Apple logo is no longer on the Macs. Overall, a nice machine.

Great laptop! Works great. Fast and no problems. It's been 8 months and it's still great! Only thing that's a little bit of a hassle is that it doesn't take regular USB devices. I had to buy a converter. But it's worth it.

Didn't plan on getting a new MacBook, had an 2013 Mac Book Air 13", but Best Buy was offering save $300 on a new Mac Book Pro with 3 years Apple Care. Even though some sites say the USB-C port are an inconvenience I have to disagree. The Mac Book Pro, is lighter in weight then my old Mac Book Air, Battery Life is better, screen is brighter, the keyboard is more secure and stable. A most buy for apple fan that are looking to upgrade. An accessories for the USB-C adaptors are easy to find and comes with many options.

The MacBook Pro 2016 non-Touch Bar has great build quality and provides a great feel. The display is gorgeous and the larger Force Touch Trackpad has been delightful to use. The keyboard took some getting used to but I can type incredibly quickly and would not want to go back to traditional, mushy-feeling keys. But this laptop is for a specific consumer. The premium price, as with all Apple products, is for a premium quality construction and some of the best customer support. This MBP is not for a consumer who is looking for the most power or bang for his or her buck. It is more of a replacement to the MacBook Air or a bigger 12" MacBook, but besides that, there isn't much to it that makes it "Pro." If you want a premium laptop for light use, this is the perfect companion to your daily lifestyle.

I've had my MacBook Pro for almost 2 months now and I must say it is the best decision and investment I've ever made. It truly is everything it claims to be. It is so light and easy to carry anywhere which is great for me seeing as my main reason for purchasing the laptop was for recording music along with photo and web editing. The battery life on it is just amazing to me it seriously lasts so long. Overall I'm more than happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend to everyone.

Best Buy is fantastic with price matching, I got a GREAT deal on this awesome MacBook. I have used PCs all my life and after my last Dell gave out, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to switch over to MacBook. It's just overall more compatible with iPhone, iPad and iTunes. It's really fast, boots up in seconds it's amazing. Very clean, sleek laptop. I'm happy so far. I have noticed sometimes it lags, or the white mouse pointer will disappear for some time with no explanation.
