i like this laptop because it is highly portable. it is very light and very portable so i can take it with me whenever i go to places. it also has sleek design so it looks pretty. the battery life- continue use i noticed it can run up to 8 hours and charging is fast. i recomend this product to one who travels and needed things get done while travelling

I am very happy with my MacBook Pro so far. We have purchased several MacBook Pros from Best Buy over the years. My only disappointment with this model compared to my older model that died is that I no longer have the disc player and USB slots so I will have to transfer everything a different way. I understand it is an improvement in technology, but it will be another expense to transfer data. Despite my one disappointment I still give this computer five stars as I know it will live up to my expectations just as our other MacBook Pros have.

The Product is solid. Very good replacement for my 2013 MacBook Pro 15 inch retina. The build quality is top of the line. The only down side is 7th gen U-series processors have only 2 cores. It is very fast if you use macOS and do not play games. But using some productive software or running virtual machines, it will show its limitations. With the quad-core upgrade coming with 8th gen cpu next year, performance could increase significantly. Wait till then if you are planning on gaming, video editing, or running virtual machine on this device.

This is my first ever MacBook and I love it so much! Its so small and convenient and it doesn't take to much space. The battery lasts so long!

I love the new MacBook it’s smaller and faster. You do have to buy the adapter if you want to use a USB however it’s small and easy to pack.

This is my second Mac. Had the first Mac for 9 years and it never failed me. What I like best about this new Mac is its speed due to the flash storage and it was not much more expensive than the Mac I purchased 9 years ago. It is well made. I do miss a CD/DVD drive and 2 ports will force you to buy a few adapters.

This was just the right mix of size and performance. Cost is slightly higher than wanted but seems from research that Apple stays more relevant longer than most systems. With software and was of use it has all needed for my new college experience. Extremely light but still sturdy.

this is my second one, the 1st still works great but needed one for work and lighter. This is also a wonderful computer very happy with it

It is lightweight for everyday use. My middle schooler really loves the touch of the keyboard and the design. He uses it for homework, studying, and programming. I tried the laptop and it had a remarkable difference from other laptops. Overall, it’s technology and the innovation is out of this world. Definitely an outstanding buy.

Nice size notebook! Deceivingly light to pick up. Good graphics and speed. Only hang up, Having trouble finding a cover to fit the size.

It’s so light and most importantly very fast . Loved the way it’s working. Very easy to run SAS, STATA. I wish I had it few years back

I like the retina screen which is so clear and cool. The computer is light but the screen feels big enough. Siri is excellent as well.

Replaced my 2008 MBP (yes, that's not a typo) and I must say that I'm glad I waited. No complaints so far. Very happy customer here.

I "upgraded" from a 13" Macbook Air, and this thing is amazing. The screen is bright and colorful, the keyboard is actually pretty nice to type on and the performance is quite good. If you've got the money, I'd recommend going up to the next model with 18GB of RAM though.

Recently purchased this laptop on Sale at Best Buy for my daughter for her college. It is very light weight and so far it has given a solid performance. Hope for it to last a few years. The only reason for 4-stars is that it only has one C-Type connector and no USB ports. If you are using a mouse or attaching an external Hard Drive, you cannot connect anything else. In order to connect a USB, you have to buy a separate adapter to convert the c-type port to usb. Also lack of a DVD player is missed. You have to buy a separate DVD player to attach to the laptop.

Wonderful computer, however not for business use. I purchased the Mac pro because of the quality build. All the Geeks love it as a favorite. I am sadly disappointed. Due to the nature and location of the various job sites, I need to work in Excel off-line. The application is only offered in the Mac pro via internet. All my business work programs run off window based systems, so my bad for not checking. Now im borrowing a computer to get my work done. I did hear that can be adapted, however, I did not pay top dollar for a computer to chronically be adapting and purchasing additional product. Had to purchase an adapter to plug in to the Mac Pro for charging and monitor because what came on the computer was insufficient. Charging cord too short requiring another purchase. Heavier than most computers it's size. Do not recommend for business use. Nice quality, just too expensive to be my toy. Would rather have other toys.

Before start to use it, I thought it could be a bit "not to fast", but until now, I got no issues with speed or opening any kind of file or applications. But I'm not a hard user, I don't do video editing, so, it is fast. The new keyboard is a little different from any other and need to get use to it. I'm just having an issue with my old Time Machine backup because it is bigger then the 256 GB and I could not select just the pictures from the backup, still trying to figure out how can I get my pictures back.

I really enjoy using this laptop. It has a clean and sleek design especially with the new space gray color! There is no lag time.
