I just upgraded my MacBook Pro from 8 years ago. First, amazing that a laptop would run that long and second, that I wasn't immediately compelled to upgrade. But, the Retina screen really does make a difference so given that I spend so much time in front of that screen, I went for the upgrade. And, I'm never disappointed. Everything is better, the trackpad, keys and screen - and of course, it runs faster. Again, a well built product from Apple that will stand the test of time. Only consideration you should give is if you go for this model, or the one with Touch Bar. Touch Bar is interesting, but not groundbreaking.

Excellent laptop because is super fast, very thin and light weight.

My first computer was an inherited Mac desktop many moons ago! I have had numerous laptops and desktops but have always wanted my own Mac again. I bought MacPro's for all of my college-bound kiddos several years ago. The oldest had gone through three laptops in three years and he's had his Pro through undergrad and professional school and it's still full steam ahead! I LOVE my new MacPro! Need I say more? I already own all Apple products already and this is just the icing on the cake. I wanted power, performance, and reliability. The only drawback is the lack of USB ports on previous models. I use an adaptor. I had been awaiting the 4 June announcement on the Air and Pro changes and alas, couldn't wait any more! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Pro. No turning back now!

My daughter got for college- great laptop- lightweight and fast

It's taken me a long time and 4 PCs to make the switch to Mac but I am happy I did. This model is lightweight and compact, perfect for travel, but still fast enough for daily use. I'm a writer and use it all day every day.

Love my new lMacBook. Everything is Great about it... The weight, the size, performance, presentation.... I was even able to get a sale price for the holidays, which is still higher than competitors, but it is all worth it...

The combination of having a good and precise information on the website together with the possibility to pick it up directly from the store is perfect....especially during Thanksgiving busy week...I did not have to waste my time waiting on long lines. The product is what I was looking for, a mid size computer to work with graphic design software.

Great computer for college students trying to get carry less weight in their bag; while also having a high performing system. The only downside that keeps it from 5 stars is the price point. I was got the computer at a huge discount, but there are other brands with better demographics that are half the price. Apple however proves to have a strong and long lasting product. Just changed from windows to OS

This laptop is excellent. Really fast and very user friendly.

Very lovely lap top. Purchased this one for my daughter to take with her to college. Very lightweight, long battery life, easy to navigate through apps. Hope to get many years of life out of this one.

Apple mac book pro is always a good product due to its impressive design and specifications but little expensive, need to buy the dock for USB-C to use other connections.

I previously had an iMac and was contemplating also getting a MacBook. Best decision ever. This little workhorse is amazing! So much faster, compact and light to travel with. I highly recommend the 13" MacBook Pro!
