I was gifted this laptop by my parents and it has been amazing so far. Runs quickly, has good battery life, and is very lightweight. A tip if you have been given/are gifting this computer, mine was fully dead after the month of two of waiting to be gifted and I initially had some problems setting it up because I was new to the MacBook charging system. All I all I really enjoy using this computer and am typing the review on it now.

It's thinner than the previous versions, the keyboard is more comfortable. Excellent screen and back light. The mouse pad is bigger and you'll have to use to get use to it, but better at the end

My first Mac. Solid, easy to learn and performs exceptionally well. Not sure it is worth the premium price, but my team uses Macs and it was time to join them just for ease of sharing documents.

Great laptop for portability and power. It does most tasks pretty fast and with no problems. For extreme jobs, this isn't the laptop for you, but is perfect for someone with high expectations.

It was finally time to upgrade my last MacBook Pro for a new one. I had it for 8 years with no problems. Memory filled up and it was running too slow. I love this new model. It has incredible, vivid colors, and is lighter than my girlfriend’s MacBook Air! Absolutely love it. I hate that Apple has changed everything to usb-c, which is a pain and makes you spend more money, but overall I love the quality of the MacBook Pro line.

Mac book pro with its sleek design captures heart at its best. Its robustness in hardware and software is something you will never regret. This 13 inch laptop is so handy and serves the overall purpose of a college laptop. its Type c thunderbolt port makes it inconvenient for connecting hard disk and cdmi and ethernet cables. It is something you have to get used to. It has a long lasting battery and amazing display and audio.

I am so impressed with my new computer and I absolutely feel this was the right purchase for me ! The computer is lightweight and very fast and has many extra cool features that I was unaware of. I bought the computer on a holiday special and I feel that i got a pretty decent price For purchasing a MAC. Since I am new to using a Mac I feel that the ease of use has been pretty good transition

This is my first Mac computer (I used to be Windows for life), and I am so happy I made the switch. I paid a bit more for storage and its worth it for the extra space and peace of mind. Everything moves quickly, the actual computer is so sleek and smooth, and I love all the new features this Pro has to offer. Go get one yourself!!

Fast, light and sleek. Definitely worth upgrade from my 2012 MacBook Pro. The only reason why I docked a star is because it does get a little hot almost 55 degrees which isn't great. Just going to keep an eye on it.

I upgraded to this from a surface pro 3 with the intention of editing video. iMovie and Final Cut Pro both run quickly and I’m able to edit 4K footage without any issues. My only issue is Apple removing standard USB ports for USB-C ports. I had to buy an adapter which looks ugly and is a pain to have to remember to bring around with me.

I haven’t used mine yet, but my daughter has had hers for 3 1/2 years and loves it. It’s still as fast as it was the first day. No problems at all. 4 stars instead of 5 because I don’t like the fact that they no longer have the normal ports built in. Everything is an extra purchase and they are expensive enough without those added costs.

Very user-friendly! I actually had a hp first and it was alright although I found it too slow and had many problems over time. My MacBook is super fast and very user-friendly!

I was looking for a new laptop as my old one was getting a bit dated. This computer is so thin, light, and stylish. It’s powerful for its size. The main issues are that it gets hot, the keyboard hasn’t it’s issues (even the 2018 models have these issues) and the gray finish wears off where my wrist sits. Other than that, it’s perfect! Great portability, as well as easy to use with macOS.

My 7 plus year old MacBook Pro developed a "spastic cursor" and also couldn't be updated to the latest OS. So I reluctantly decided to make the plunge once again to purchase a MacBook Pro. I was not happy about the price from Apple but if I wanted something as reliable and generally pain free I felt I had no choice. With Best Buy I managed to see for a short time the Mac was on sale for $150 cheaper than at Apple. I can't say I've seen Apple products discounted much at all. So I jumped at the chance and so far am not disappointed. I ordered it online for pick up at the store the next day. Easy and fast pick up was great.

I have had a Macbook Mid-2010 White Unibody that I have used for the last 5 years, and it was time for an upgrade. I simply love how light these Macbook Pros are as well as the screen definition and quality of the stereo speakers. They are second to none. I use it for mid level video editing, mostly 1080p resolution, with some 4k video editing. Handles both with ease!! I love my upgrade to the Macbook Pro.

This laptop is light weight and has a fast processor. You will need a "dangle" to connect to HDMI or USB, but with the slim case, it is a small price to pay! I learned also that only this particular unit during this release time (with the older "F" function keys (not the LCD custom labeled keys) has a HD that can be replaced. The others are impossible to change or upgrade if needed.

This is an awesome computer and is very fast. I love the retina display. It is my 2nd MacBook Pro. Not happy that it has only two USB-C ports but will learn to do without.

After my last Mac took a dive, I wasn't sure I would establish a bond with another Mac. I have. It's super lightweight, fast, and reliable. I would recommend it to anyone.

I purchased my first MacBook the day Apple announced the availability of the aluminum unibody 13inch MacBook (wasn't called Pro then), and I haven't regretted it. But after 9 years and now finding that OS upgrades past El Capitan aren't recommended for that model (late 2008) I decided to replace it with a new 13 inch MacBook Pro, and thus far, I'm extremely pleased with it. Battery life is amazing. Time to awake after being in sleep mode is only a few seconds. Migration of data, apps and settings was a snap, taking less than two hours. Doubt if I'll miss the CD drive as I haven't used one fore a couple years.
