Purchased for my daughter to use at graduate school. Replaced 4-year old 13" MacBook Pro. Much thinner, weighs considerably less, much more capable processor, better video and the speakers are amazing. Only complaint would be the need for dongles due to new USB ports.

Been wanting for awhile for pictures. Worth getting. Lightweight and easily portable

i bought this to replace my MacBook Pro 2011 version. That was my first Apple computer and fell in love with Apple products ever since. The new Pro did not disappoint. It has a great vivid display, faster, and lighter; and a nice feel keyboard. Great purchase.

This computer is incredibly easy to use and powerful enough for me to get everything done that I need, I had to get adapters though since there are only 2 USB c ports but everything is available on Amazon for a relatively inexpensive price

Bought to replace a 2008 MacBook that is still working well, 10 years on, but since Apple has stopped supporting it and it has a spinning hard-drive, I'm playing with fire. I like the style of both the old and new keyboards. I can't explain why, but they are different. This is the first laptop I've owned with backlit keys and I love it. It's fast and capable, and the OS integration with my other (Apple) devices is incredible. Viewing a text on the laptop dismisses notification on the phone like magic. The Unix shell is such a benefit. My biggest issue is the big one you've probably heard before: non-replaceable parts. The battery, RAM, and hard drive are soldered in and can not be replaced by me. This is why my 10-year old machine is still working today. The un-upgradability may very well get me to look elsewhere besides Apple when this laptop needs to be replaced.

This laptop is very thin and light weight but made very durable in an all aluminum body. I'm a future teacher in college and this will be perfect for all of my needs. It's super fast, can easily fit in a backpack, and it's got a lot of neat features.

The exterior design is very nice. It's thin but full of features. Overall, love it.

I've always had good luck with Apple products. They're expensive but seem to perform and last. Was feed up with constant Windows 10 updates and conflicts so I bought this MacBook Pro. Wow, it was extremely easy to get started and set up. This laptop is fast and works great. Goodbye Windows, I'll never go back just wish I hadn't waited so long to take the leap. Great product with Apple support.

Mackbook pro 13" is the best option for any student. Best performance and quality.

I upgraded from a MBP mid 2012 and do not regret it. The computer is all around faster, graphics are impressive, battery life is great. The only downfall is having two USB-C ports... meaning you have to buy an adapter in order to use regular USB items.

There is no doubt that Apple creates a quality product. The craftsmanship is top notch as is the performance. The mbp is compact and easy to take with you when on the go. Be sure to purchase a usb c to USB adapter so you are able to use existing peripherals.

I like the keyboard more than I thought I would. Great screen display and fast

I had a MacBook Pro from 2011 that finally gave out and I thought it would be a logical choice to replace it with something similar. The Apple guru at the Best Buy store was extremely knowledgeable about the lineup and all the different options available and pointed me to this version based on using it for e-mail, photos/editing, music storage and general internet "stuff". So far the computer has been great. It is all the things you would expect from an Apple; quick/responsive, great display, aesthetically pleasing and intuitive. All that said, there are a few things that I have found at least a little annoying. To start, the power cord is new and they did away with the magnetic feature that guided the old power cord into the receptor on my old MacBook. The new one just plugs into the "upgraded" USB. Apparently, the entire industry is changing over to this new USB and it will be faster or somehow better but it's extremely annoying to me at the moment. In order to use a standard thumb drive (which I will often use to work on files from the office or transfer media) I had to buy a $100 adaptor. Additionally, Apple decided to get rid of the brackets that helped roll up the power cord. Finally, the new MacBook tends to get very warm after working on it for a while. I am typically not one to complain but when you are paying a premium for a brand you expect to be pleasantly surprised vs. surprisingly annoyed. I have probably come to take some of the great things that Apple offers for granted so I a still rating this product as a 4 out of 5 but I think Apple has reached a plateau of innovation for the moment.

This is by far my nicest laptop. Super light and fast!!! I absolutely love it.

For many years I used an HP laptop because it fit my budget. However, I always was angered by how slow it was and knew I would eventually need to upgrade. The MacBook Pro is incredible, the screen is vibrant and clear, the keys with a backlit keyboard is awesome and the processor is faster than ever. I've always been an iPhone user and to be able to take a picture on my phone and it automatically appear on my laptop is awesome. Also, for those of you that are on-the-go types, you can write a document in pages or google docs and then open it right on your phone and continue where you left off. You surely get what you pay for with the Mac, I highly recommend investing in one!

Apple never lets me down. Thin, lightweight, and fast, this product is great.

Works well for me, especially how small it it. Easy to carry in my handbag.
