His laptop is exactly what I expected. Perfect size and slimness. Quick and easy to learn to use. It is a bit fragile so I recommend a case and keyboard cover.

Intuitive and fast computer with very nice graphics

I think this was a really great computer to upgrade after having the 2011 macbook pro. The clarity, speed and storage are all great. I really enjoy having the night shift on the computer too.

This is a very powerful machine which comes with a little bit more price. I have using this macbook for couple of months now with no issue. Lots of people complains about macbook new keyboard but once you start using it for months you will like it. Trust me!!. The battery can last all day for regular use but even if you cary charger with you it is not that heavy. There is another version of macbook pro with touchbar which more expensive. I will suggest you to go with no touchbar because all features are same except touch bar. I bought this macbook on sale for 400 dollar off. If you are student and looking for macbook always look for sale and discount.

Lightweight for travel. Powerful as a large MacBook Pro. Interfaces well with all platforms. Last updated my 15" MacBook Pro 7 years ago. This of course is faster, better, and easy to travel with on the road.

portable, works well. This version is significantly better than the previous one. It is a much better screen than the similar size macbook, which is not much cheaper. SSd performance is quite high.

This computer works beautifully. I’ve never owned a MacBook and will only be using them moving forward. Gestures took a small time to learn and are ingenious. Everything runs quickly and battery life is impressive. I bought this for grad school and can tell it definitely last throughout my time in school and then some.

I had to return my company laptop and needed something that would last for years. This is my first MacBook, I've always used PCs. This is wonderful and easy to use. There are so many videos online and Apple has classes at their stores. I was up and running very quickly. Now I see why people are switching to MacBooks

Thoughts: -Though heavier than the Air the computer is still manageable in weight. -So far I’ve had no issue with the keyboard, but my computer is still pretty new. Pros: -The ease of use from OS is great for everyday use. -Connectivity with other Apple devices is great. (IPhone or Apple Watch) -The screen and graphics look great for a Mac. -The trackpad is very responsive precise Cons: -2 USBc ports are a little troublesome to manage if you’re trying to charge your computer and connect other devices. -The computer does get hot decently quickly causing the fan to run which can get noisy -The charging cord does not come with the extension cord that used to be standard on earlier macs. I just used the extension piece from my old MacBook Air charging cord, but for someone without this luxury, the lack of length of the charging cord could get annoying. Overall I do like this computer better than my old MacBook Air. It has more capabilities for a bit more weight which I don’t mind. It’s versatile and performs well, but I docked a star because I find it a bit frustrating that I have to buy adaptors and dongles for the computer due to only having 2 ports adding on to the base cost of the computer.

We have owned many Apple devices and all have exceeded expectations. Hoping this one is no different. The user experience is second to none. Only concern at this point is battery life is not quite what I expected and I wish this laptop had a full compliment of ports and not just the 2 usb-c ports it comes with.

This has been an amazing buy. Ever since my last laptop broke, I have been looking for one thats durable, fast, and easy to carry. This has been by far the best laptop ive used. Had to choose between this one and the touch bar, but felt that it was not needed. Plus i bought this when there was a special offer and felt like it was a nice buy.

Bought this to replace an early 2011 MacBook Pro, which was a great computer. This one is much lighter, faster and holds a charge longer. Hope it lasts the 7 plus years I had the other one.

I love my new laptop and case. I previously owned the HP Envy but had to switch for better performance with my school major. It’s light weight, great screen quality, and overall a great purchase.

Used for a year. Everything is perfect with it. The design, battery life, MacOS, and weight, make you feel so great when using it. Would expect a larger column model though.
