It is light and easy to carry around to any place. It is easy to use for a beginner. It is compact and beautiful. It has all the features I need. A perfect gift for any college student.

My daughter got this computer to use for high school and her on the side photography. She loves the ease of use Touch Bar. It’s light weight and the battery lasts all day! We did have to purchase a separate hyperdrive to accommodate the sd cards, mouse, charger, etc. The limited ports and the lack of DVD drive are why I can only give this 4 stars.

I was in a need of an upgrade of an older version. This computer is a lot faster, but I the lack of ports can be an issue. There is only one single USB-C connector so you have to a dongle to use an external monitor or any other accessory. Its a great computer for travel and the weight is great and easy to pack around. Image is bright.

Great computer in general, super light. Unfortunately, they took out the SD slot and USB ports, so a dongle is def needed for anything to work

Bought for son who is in college. Super light weight and quality is amazing! Would recommend buying if you need a lightweight portable laptop with full capabilities.

I previously owned a MacBook Pro that I purchased in 2012 and was very happy with it because it was powerful enough to handle my online school needs as well as my full time job requirements. I'm pleased to report that this MacBook Pro is quite an upgrade. Not only is it more powerful, but it is lighter and the battery life is longer as well. The only disappointment is that the magnetic power cord is gone and is replaced with a USB-C port. There are only 2 USB-C ports so you may want to look into a multi-port adapter. Be sure to shop around for the adapter as they can be pricy and vary in the number of ports and type of ports.

I’ve had this MacBook Pro for about a month now. I needed a new one after I started having issues with my old MacBook Pro, which was a 15 inch 2010 model. Upgrading to this 2018 model was so nice. It’s so light, if it’s not as light as a MacBook Air than it’s pretty close. I’m a college student so the fact that it’s so much lighter than my old one is one of its best features for me. Macs usually have decently long life spends so I hope this one lasts a while! (One small detail that I didn’t notice until I got it home is that the apple logo doesn’t light up like it used to on the other models, it’s just a little mirror now) just something I noticed lol

It was time to replace my 2012 MacBook Pro and after researching Apple computers I choose a 2017 MacBook Pro. This is a solid good looking high performance computer. With the SSD this is much faster than my old Mac. The retina makes my pictures unbelievably crisp! I’m loving my new MacBook Pro!

Had the larger MacBook Pro and downsized. Wasn’t sure I would like it but love the size. Very light. Only challenge is there are no USB ports so you need to buy an adapter.

Just bought this laptop and I love it! Super thin and light. Easy to take anywhere with you. Fast performance, speakers are louder, works like a charm. Would purchase again.

I'm not a big Apple fan, but my wife insisted we get it. I actually enjoy it once learning different functions. Constantly wishing laptops still had a disc drive, but that neither here nor there. Great amount of storage and haven't really had an issue because this is primarily used for classes and gaming. It's a multi-use computer and great for most things you could imagine. It's accidentally taken a few minor beatings and is still in great condition, just some cosmetic wear, especially with the matte aluminium being what it is.

Just what I needed for business travel. It's the perfect size, weight, programs, speed capability, and price. I'm enjoying learning how to navigate my apple.

Bought this computer for my wife and her new job. It is small, light weight and easy to use. Mac makes things simple. She made the switch from a PC and loves it.

Fast, great performance. I hate the fact that there are no ports and you have to buy adapters to basically connect anything to it.

Slim/Sleek design. Amazing aluminum finish. Love the gigantic track pad and feel of the butterfly keyboard. I for one am happy with the glow apple gone, however, I am disappointed that the SD card slot was removed. I went the non-touch bar with 256GB hard drive, and honestly 256GB should have been the base model not the 128GB. Final Cut is a must if you intend to do video editing. I wouldn't recommend this laptop if you use Adobe Premier. I do use Lightroom and works great, especially with this Retina display.

I bought this computer after my early 2015 MacBook Pro kept having issues. I initially thought I would convert to a Windows computer, but after thinking about it for a while, I went with a new MacBook Pro. I don't regret it. The startup capabilities have been excellent; the ease of use is unbelievable. I will say getting used to the butterfly keyboard was weird at first, but it feels natural now. The only other thing I am not totally a fan of are the limited ports on the laptop. I do wish there was still at least one USB port available but have been able to function without it.

Switched from a HP to a MAC - difference is day and night. I am able to link my calandars,texts,and emails onto my MAC on the homescreen. Plus the iCloud feature allows me to edit,post,and upload photos and videos with ease. Its nice and sleek enough for a student to carry to class.

Great laptop, worth every penny. Fast, sleek looking and easy to use. I convertered from an HP Windows and I LOVE this laptop. Will never go back to anything else.
