This MBP is awesome, it’s light weight, decent battery life, the screen is crystal clear, and very fast. Love it!

I love my laptop! Very easy to use, light weight, very fast, stylish look, and works perfect for my school/work load!

First and foremost, the build quality of this machine is great. The frame is sturdy and light. The machine is quiet and cool. The screen is gorgeous. Only a few times have I pushed the fan to be audible for extended times. I am impressed with the way the MacBook syncs with my watch and phone with included software. Investment in the ecosystem has paid off in that regard. Loses a star for price. It is simply too expensive for the internals, the biggest offender being the hard drive. Overcome by an external drive, yes, but still bothersome. That said, I would still recommend to someone invested in the ecosystem. To anyone else, buy a windows ultrabook instead.

my wife does a lot of video editing, so she needed a fast, responsive computer with great video suites that could handle the load. with imovie and filmedit programs, she can take care of multiple videos in no time!!!

I purchased this for my 12 year old. He uses it frequently for school and says it's very easy to navigate. Great sound from speakers and the display is top notch. I highly recommend the MacBook for people of all ages.

I absolutely love this machine, the speed and power of this bad boy is amazing. The screen resolution is fantastic, I feel like maybe I should’ve gone for the bigger screen but other than that I have no complaints.

It's an Apple laptop. It does everything seamlessly within its own environment. It doesn't freeze like my Windows computer every 10 boot ups. It is highly expensive, yes. That's the price of competence sometimes.

Had a 2009 MacBook Pro and it stopped functioning, replaced with this and works great and also very light weight. Surprised as it almost similar to MacBook Air and also power packed performce with Retina display

like all apple products the quality is superior than all other notebooks. i love the size and weigth.

The MacBook pro is simply exquisite. With retina display you do not have to worry about any glare impacting the visibility of your screen. MacBook works very fast and no issues with anything at all as of yet!

Enjoy the smaller laptop. I appreciate Apple security and support. Built in camera not as good as before, but I guess that is because almost everyone has a smartphone with a better one. Speakers are great.

We purchased the MacBook Pro as a graduation gift for our daughter. I have one that is over 6 years old and still running very well. So far, she has found it easy to learn to use and will get a lot of use when she begins college. I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 because the laptop no longer has a built in CD/ DVD drive, and Apple's super drive sold separately is not compatible with the latest MacBooks, and they fail to disclose this. We were forced to return the drive and buy a different brand so she could play CDs and DVDs on it. It would also have been nice to still have the various ports built into the laptop, such as the memory card slots, USB ports, etc. We had to purchase a separate hyperdrive adapter. Other than those details, the laptop is great, and we'd still consider another one someday when mine has reached its life span.

My daughter needed a computer upgrade. Her last one was about 6 years old, out of date and "died". We bought this one for a few hundred off at a Best Buy sale. She LOVES it! It's fast with lots of memory.

Bought this computer to replace my 7 year old apple computer that was running slow and did not respond well to the latest information on the web. The new computer was twice as fast and a pleasure to use.

Great graphics, light weight, easy to use. Very good quality. I do wish the Apple still lit up.
