Went to Best Buy to buy a MacBook Air because I saw it was on sale. But the salesman told me not to buy it because they won't be making any new software for it and it will become obsolete within a few years. He convinced me to spend almost double the price but said it would be easier to upgrade. So far I like it, but still not sure if it was worth spending the extra $750.

Purchased this because I needed an update to my slow 2011 MacBook Pro and I hate the lack of portability with my iMac. I mainly use my MBP's for editing videos and photos. I've had it for a few days now and so far I haven't had any issues, but I can't go in depth (as far as, this Mac being able to confidently handle the workload), because I haven't been able to load my legacy programs with the updated OS. Looks like I'll be shelling out even more money :). I reduced a star bc of the extra money that had to be spent just to buy a port/hub for extra connections for usb, sd cards and so forth. That's quite annoying especially for the money spent for the laptop alone.

If you're an apple fan, this is the laptop for you. The highlight of this laptop is how well it integrates with other Apple products. Everything simply works. I was hesitant on the keyboard, but it's grown on me over time, I now prefer it to mushier keys on windows laptops. It also helps that it has the best trackpad on any laptop. Highly recommend.

I planned to buy this apple Mac book couple months ago. Now I get it on Thanksgiving at Best buy cheaper than other stores. My daddy very like. Thanks

This has been one of the best purchases I've made this year. The only issue is the fact that I need to buy external dungles to utilize other features.

Bought this beautiful laptop for my son during the Black Friday sale. He never used Apple computers but has no problem using it. He totally loves it.

This is my second MacBook Pro and it replaced an early 2011 model. Overall, I'm very happy with this product, but still adjusting to the USBc ports. As products are just starting to switch over, be prepared to buy adapters for you current USB stuff. There are several options out there. You just have to find what works best for you!! I'm glad I went with the pro instead of the air.
