I exchanged this 13” for the 15” inch. My previous MBP was having issues with the video card and I needed a replacement, after much contemplation I went ahead and bought another MBP. This new line up is much slimmer to my previous 2011 MBP and the screen is beautiful. However, as a student I think I would have been fine with the regular Macbook or the Macbook air. Buy the pro if you really are a pro user and do a lot of editing, etc. If you need laptop simply for browsing, taking notes and no real gaming, then get anything else other than the MBP as I think the price is very, very high. Also, the lack of connectivity can be a pain because you have to buy extra connections to be able to attach any other USB connections...so be ready for that.

Great size and great features. The lightweight is perfect for a college student on the go.

13" screen is nice. It's light weight and love the upgrades from our previous MacBook.

I love my new laptop, it’s quick and does not require a lot to use effectively

This computer has met all of my expectations. I find myself using the touchbar more than I thought I would, and the USB type C bottleneck hasn't been an issue at all thanks to a couple of inexpensive adapters.

Bought this for my daughter to go off to college top-of-the-line which the cost reflected but techs at store said this would last her her entire college career

Great laptop! I recently switched from my Alienware laptop to the MacBook Pro. After a month in I am very pleased with the switch; would definitely by again!

We bought this apple macbook for our daughter, it's perfect for a student. The sales team at BestBuy were very helpful and knowledgeable about the product.

The transition from the Air to the Pro was easy with one exception: my iTunes music library didn't move during the backup restore. No one seemed quite sure how to do it since it wasn't part of the organized move from one computer to the new one. Aside from that, easy peasy. I like all the new features, although the touchbar took a bit of getting used to. Overall an A+

I really like how everything is so easy to access and how fast it is

It was highly recommended to me by my cousin who is in Pharmacy School as all my granddaughter could ever need for schoolwork, pictures, and music.

My daughter is a graphic design major and this computer offers durability and is able to provide everything that she will need throughout college.

Bought this Mac book as a replacement for my girlfriend because hers had been stolen. She loves it and was very happy with the updated features.

I purchased an open box MacBook Pro from The Woodlands, TX location. It was in perfect condition. The representative was able to confidently answer all my questions and assist with peripherals. The retina display is AWESOME! The speakers sound GREAT! The touch bar is a nice option and I especially love the biometrics. I upgraded from a 2014 MacBook Air.
