This laptop is lightweight & just the right size to carry wherever I want to take it. The crisp retina screen makes everything easy to see (and beautiful) without needing a big screen. The touch ID feature is great - just like on my iphone. My friends and family all think its cool and it has great capacity to do the work I need it to do.

Worth the price for the quality of product. Apple is the best for a reason. I haven't really explored the full capability of the touch bar yet, but I've already started using it more and more. Great speed. Tons of storage. And most importantly, the battery life lasts a long time and it charges super fast! Highly recommend!

This is the perfect computer for any student. Ultra light. Powerful. Fast. Middle School, high schoo or college.

I updated to this MacBook Pro from my 2013 MacBook Pro and it was the best decision I could have made. This new one is so thin and light and not clunky like my old one, makes carrying in my backpack nicer! I also wasn’t sure if I wanted to get the touch bar or the one without but I am also glad I decided to get the touch bar. I can’t believe I lived without the functionality of it before. I couldn’t recommend this enough. I’m in love.

I originally wanted the 15'' display just because its more screen but prices and availability got me this computer. I prefer this for transporting it, very lightweight and slim build. Very strong computer with tons of storage and speed. Looking to keep this for a very very long time.

This is my first Mac, and was a bit worried if I would like it or not, but that quickly went away when i started using it. Super fast, fastest system i have ever used, and this is coming from a person who has had so powerful systems. The audio speakers are unbelievable! Very light weight and love that we can plug to power adapter to any of the usb-c plugs that are available on this system. This was really a great purchase!

I’ve recently upgraded from the MacBook Pro with Retina (2013) and so far this laptop has been great. It’s light weight and has an excellent screen. I love that you can use finger ID to log on, it keeps everything more secure without having to type in your password all the time. And the touchbar was a feature I was unsure if the extra money was worth it but I ended up getting that model and I’m so glad I did. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it but it has been great... I use it way more than I expected to. I like that it makes suggestions and finishes words with an autocorrect like a cell phone would. The only complaint I have for this is the lack of the USB port they do make an attachment but in order to use it I have to take the bottom of my laptop cover off just to use that which gets kind of annoying. Other than that this is a great laptop and I would recommend it to anyone who loves apple products or are thinking about switching over

This review is for the 2017 Space Grey MacBook Pro 13 3.1GHz i5, 8GB 512MB Touch Bar version: Been a PC user for 25+ years. Never really dabbled in the Mac eco system, but decided now was the time. I already have an iPhone X, Apple Watch Series 2, and a iPad Pro 10.5, so it made sense to convert the last piece of the puzzle. Lets just say I am extremely happy with my choice! Was a hesitant at first with having to learn a new operating system coming from Windows 10, but the learning curve really isn't that bad. MacOS has all the same tools and programs as Windows, just different names, and they seem to actually work better. Love that all my Apple products merge with one another and work together as one.This to me a strong selling point. System is fast, smooth, fluid, quiet, barely warm, perfect size/weight, display is crisp and bright, speakers are by far the best on the market. I hear complaints about the keyboard, but to be honest, I really like the feel and low travel of the keyboard. I type a lot faster on this then the Yoga 920 it is replacing. Miss the 4K screen on the Yoga, but this Retina display is just as good and is perfect for a 13" screen, and lets not mention scales perfect unlike in Windows. Keyboard for me is hands down better than the Yoga 920. In all, I am extremely happy with my choice, in fact, I returned my wife's Yoga 730 and got her a MacBook Pro 13 TB as well! She loves hers just as much... Couldn't beat the Best Buy sale this weekend as I was able to save $400 on each MacBook! PRO's: Build quality Performance Speakers Screen/colors MacOS Apple ecosystem Color (Space Grey) Touch Bar (yes it seems gimmicky but after using it, it does work quiet well) CON's: Wish the touch bar version got the extra hour or so of battery life of the NTB version Expensive even on sale (you get what you pay for though) Keyboard longevity? I am so in love with my new Macbook and I think I'm gonna neglect my iPad Pro for several days. I upgraded from Macbook Air, and Macbook Pro Retina. Air is very portable but its a headache when you want to edit videos and photos. Macbook Pro retina 2012 is now to heavy after getting used with the air. This laptop is super fast. I love the touchbar and fingerprint scanner.

This is a tremendous laptop. It is sleek, fast, easy to travel with, and just looks great. It is a comfort having 512GB of storage at my disposal - I can be lazier and not have to maintain my data as frequently.

I'm a long-time Apple customer and this is my third mac book. The touch bar is an awesome new feature that makes utilizing the laptop more effective. The speed is great and the double up on memory makes working in my memory-heavy design programs a lot easier. Love my new Mac, and looking to add a Mac desktop to my home in the near future.

I needed this laptop for work, I really liked the specs and it was in my price range. I have not been let down. The hardware runs as I would have expected but the look of it is exactly what you would expect from a Mac as well. Clean lines and Light for taking it to and from work. Highly recommend if you 're going the Mac route.

The MacBook Pro 13” laptop is the best computer I’ve ever owned, hands down. The solid state disk drive is very quiet and runs very cool. It’s low power consumption allows this MacBook to start immediately and it’s Intel i5 processor is very, very fast. The task bar, which replaces the old “function keys” is an amazing tool. It functionality intuitively changes depending on the program in current use which makes it extremely powerful. On the down side, Apple’s switch to USB “C” “Thunderbolt” ports is a bit frustrating and requires an intermediate interface in order to connect older USB peripherals. Otherwise, I think the deign is great and I highly recommend this product.

I bought this MacBook Pro for my son to use at college. He loves it. It has lots of power and the Retina display is amazing for this new thinner version. It gets about 6 hours of battery life in between charges. The only thing is you need to buy the USB-C to USB3 dongle ($19) for your legacy peripherals.

We purchased the MacBook Pro to replace a 2012 model. So far, it has worked well. The book is light and easy to hold. The only cons I see are that the power cord is no longer connected magnetically, and we needed to buy a adapter for a USB port (the book only comes with a "C" type port.

I bought this 13 inch macbook pro with touch bar after much debate between this and a 15 inch. I'm glad i got this size as the portability is top notch, and the screen size is more than enough for a user like me who does mostly office based work and the occassional photo/movie editing.
