Terrific MacBook. Touch Bar is cool but often can’t use because it’s docked. Battery life isn’t always great.

I had been waiting for Apple to announce the release of the new 13" MacBook Pro w/out the Butterfly keyboard and ordered it the day it became available. Love the Space Gray and the Touch Pad has been handy, even though I've hardly had occasion to use it so far. Macs are not inexpensive. But before I switched to Mac, I was buying a new Windows laptop every couple of years. I had my previous MacBook Pro for a relatively modest 6 years.

Still learning a few of the apps but it is comfortable to use and interfacing with the office network, printers and old files nicely.

My old MacBook is 10 years old. It still works but the battery life is very bad. I wanted something with a 5-7 year lifespan and I know from previous experience that the MP is my choice. I’ve owned Windows machines and they just don’t run updated software as consistently as a Mac does. Some have finally joined a quality build approach, but it’s also what’s under the hood and how it’s utilized that counts. Love this unit already!

I love Mac so much that this is the 2nd Macbook pro with touch bar that ive purchased and this one is for my friends business.
