I bought him the surface pro a few years back and it finally gave in. I was going to buy him another one, but decided on the MacBook instead. I’m glad I did. He loved the surface pro as well, but prefers this one as it connects to all our other products. The only thing is that it is a learning process: the platform and commands are so different and not common so it requires a lot of research and reading and exploring.

Best Apple laptop for the price in a while

Thankfully Apple has fixed that in this generation. The specs on this laptop for the price make it a very solid pick in the 13" form factor, not overpriced, and finally they've fixed the persistent keyboard/touchbar issues. Five stars so far. That goes for Best Buy as well, which has a seamless curbside pickup experience.

I’m so use to a touchscreen (iPhone,iPad) really wish they would change that and the battery life could always be better. It’s a much better price than what apple would sell it for also.
