The new MacBook Pro 13-inch for 2019 (starting at $1,299, $1,499 as tested) packs a much faster 8th gen Intel Core CPU and both Touch ID and the Touch Bar. And while the keyboard still isn't great, Apple has introduced minor enhancements that will (hopefully) make it more reliable. Add in more than 10 hours of battery life and you have one of the best laptops around, and the best Apple laptop for most people -- at least those who want a future-proof system.

Good speed, easy to use, lightweight and easy to fit in a not-huge bag, no complaints.

I love my MacBook Pro, it is light and it is fast! I would 100 percent recommend to anyone! It has very nice features that integrate well with the Apple ecosystem. I am probably one of the very few people who loves the 4 thunderbolt/usb type c ports and doesn’t hate the touch at. I personally think it is great and makes things easier. I mean come on who’s needs an earphone jack??

I've only owned this for a few days but as a prior Macbook Air 2015 user for 5 years I can say this computer is powerful and efficient. I thankfully skipped the butterfly keyboard era and immediately got to experience the Magic keyboard right after Apple's older keyboard models and it has been a great jump. My previous mac contained 4GB of RAM and an i5 core and I got this model because I felt it was more useful in today's generation of tech. I also want to mention I owned the Dell XPS 9300 for 2 weeks and not to sound like a "fanboy" but I can rightfully say the feel of this 2020 model is slightly better. Dell's QC is not the best so I returned it for this one and so far I am enjoying it. Hopefully it stays that way! Overall, it is a great product! Worth the 5 year wait for me :)

Overall a really good computer, it’s easy to navigate and not too big of a laptop. Definitely happy with my purchase the Touch Bar is a plus it’s really cool.

How could I not? The sound is louder than the MacBook Pro and Air M1 chips due to sound also dispersing additionally through the fan exhaust on the bottom. The benchmarks are a bit slower than the M1's but I am not a power user, just use her for my work needs that are mostly web based and playing media. You get almost double the storage. Same great trackpad and keyboard. Runs a bit warm at times on the bottom, but nothing crazy, the fans infrequently start up. The display seems about the same. Battery life is fine, I am always looking to plug in anyhow, but not M1 long. The ports being on both sides is another plus. When BB put this on sale for less $700.00 yesterday, I jumped on it and could not be more pleased!

I bought this Macbook pro for my mom, she is a great fan of Mac. She really loves the ease of use. I have been using mac for several years, so I found it very easy to set up and use. The speed is so fast. It is perfect for her daily internet browsing and emailing. The design is also very attractive, she loves it very much.

Laptop shipped and arrived with no issue. Actually got it quicker than expected, This laptop is such a beauty. Battery life is great. The performance of this laptop blew my mind, although I wish i had enough funds for the 16 inch- 13 inch is great. Very light = Very fragile. Had to buy extra accessories in order to keep it safe. So just expect to pay more on accessories.

This is my second MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. I have to say that 3 years later (2020) I am in absolute awe., this is the best of the best laptop I have ever experienced!!! Apple did a great job with this one.

Personal opinion: Incredible value, incredible build quality, user performance is second to none compared to user experience of PC. Geek Squad did an excellent job preparing this machine for Open Box by wiping clean and reinstalling OS X. I've heard of fan noises but that can be remedied in settings not to run unless machine is being used in power hungry mode. 16GB is where this Pro sets itself apart from the 8GB machines. I also enjoy the fact that the Touch Bar can be changed or made into more of a physical emulating Touch Bar. Why an i5 instead of M1? M1 silicon is new and not all programs have been developed or running with this processor and may never be compatible? While M1 is state of mind and head over heals beyond their Intel competition, this Pro can run anything other than Apple proprietary M1 programs...

Everything you would expect from a MacBook - fast, easy to use, durable, compact. My only complaint would be it is noticeably heavier than my old Macbook air, but that was not a surprise. It was just really nice to have such a light MacBook, but I was also missing out on the processing speed and storage space that I have with the new MacBook pro.

I love my mac. I do wish they were a lot cheaper though. It's smaller than my older one and lighter too. It is fast and the screen has great color and clarity.

The is a great buy. I’ve owned my MacBook for over a year and it has served me well. Tons of storage capability and the battery life lasts long all day without me needing to recharge. When I do have to charge it it charges fast. Highly recommend.

It's a great computer! Apple's screens are terrific, the keyboard and trackpad are unparalleled, and the computing power and memory are plenty for data work like mine. If looking for downsides: it gets very hot, and the battery life unplugged is at best 3 hours.

I switched from Windows to Mac. I am blown away by the speed, performance of this machine. I must say that this tiny thing has super limpid speakers compared to any competitors out there. The touchbar, the new keyboard are an added bonus... it is definitely worth buying.. highly recommend this version

I upgraded my macbook pro recently and am very satisfied. It's fast and sleek. There are many awesome new features and it's great that the price doesn't go up. Powerful enough to be my entire work computer! Also, Best Buy's support in returning/replacing a laptop bought accidentally was great.

Great laptop, love the touch bar, feels snappy. Could handle my biggest audio production projects no problem. Unfortunately I was looking for a desktop replacement and the USB C docks out there aren't quite there yet. Waking up the machine was a crapshoot, lots of plugging and unplugging, sometimes my mouse wouldn't respond, sometimes the screen would lag. If you're looking for a portable machine, this thing is awesome. I missed my desktop experience too much - returned, will probably go for the imac.

The touch bar is a great feature. Makes searching quick and easy. It has great battery life. The screen quality is outstanding. The processor speed is perfect. Our daughter uses this at college and she loves it.

This is worlds away from my 2017 model. Everything is better. Keyboard feels much nicer, quieter too. The display is amazing super bright and very sharp lines and contrast. The SSD is really fast, the faster RAM and processor make a huge difference. Overall, a great choice for Mac users.
