Great laptop! Small and lightweight yet the battery lasts a very long time. The touch bar makes it easy to access the volume, brightness and open new windows.

TL;DR: This is a great laptop, especially if you are already in the Apple ecosystem. Upgrade to the higher tier if you do anything graphics related (e.g. video editing, gaming, etc.) for better performance, improved speakers, and dual heat fans. Keyboard is great, webcam is lacking. I purchased the 4 thunderbolt port model. In case someone reading this does not know the difference between the two tiers (e.g. $1199 v $1799 versions), the latter comes with 2 additional thunderbolt ports, improved speakers (there are actual woofers inside), and dual heat fans (as compared to only one on the lower-tier one). Furthermore, you get an 10th Gen Intel chip with improved graphics. Personally, I debated heavily on which MacBook Pro variant to get. However, I felt that getting the more expensive version would help to future-proof the device for a little longer. If you think you will do anything graphics related on your MacBook, I would say that improved graphics is worth the upgrade. As for the MacBook itself, it is a great laptop with an excellent screen, solid build quality, and amazing speakers for its class. The new Magic Keyboard is definitely different from the older scissor-switch style keys, but has enough key travel for a comfortable typing experience. My only complaint: I hate the webcam. It is 2020 and potato-quality 720p webcams should not be a thing anymore. However, this is not enough to offset the many good qualities of the laptop.

Light weight, This laptop is the perfect size and easy to use especially with the fingerprint to unlock computer.

I really like this computer and its very user friendly for people who aren't much into computers. The touchbar display is a really handy tool that ive used quite a lot. Speed of the computer is great and its very portable and sleek.

Fast and efficient for a college student completing a master’s degree. Powers on when you open it, Touch ID for passwords, and quick access with the Touch Bar. Seamless integration with my Apple Watch and iPhone and I can respond to text messages from the laptop while working. Everything I wanted in a sleek, compact, lightweight package. Saved money buying Geek Squad certified open-box and it was like new as advertised. If I don’t like it, extended holiday returns until January 2, 2021; but don’t hold your breath expecting me to return it.

We bought this computer for my daughter for her freshmen year of school and she is loving it; who wouldn't if they are not paying for it :) Seriously, it meets the requirements of the school, quick, fast, and "light" weight enough to carry around. Battery life last the day at school till she gets home to charge back up. The true test here is will it last till senior year. Highly recommend the apple care with accidental insurance... you never know... just in case.

You’d read the reviews... great keyboard. They’re true! No way to miss on these keys. And the Touch Bar is brilliant. Makes the intuitive nature of Apple even better for those of us who were PC people. Office365 works great onboard. Speed and power are amazing in such a small device. No problems with overheating. Worth the investment. And the SUPPORT from Apple is brilliant. Fast and there to help you even with simple questions of how to use some of the features. Make the leap. It’s really worth the learning curve.

This MacBook Pro is a beast. It has everything you need, style, features, size, etc.

My first Apple Mac computer and I am VERY impressed with the speed, battery life, screen quality and the solid feel when I’m working with it. I also appreciate the (4) LightningBolt ports. This gives me so much flexibility and connectivity. The Space grey color is a perfect selection too. I love the full cross connectivity with my iPhone, iPad and iWatch. So happy with my purchase. Definitely recommend spending a little more up front to get the faster processor and larger Memory.

Good laptop as usual, this Apple Macbook i5 is the latest Intel processor. So no more intel processor in 2021 and beyond.

This is the clearest display I have had. I like being able to sync everything between all my Apple products. I probably should have waited for the M chip, but when I bought it you could only run Windows (using Bootcamp) on Intel chips. I need to keep using some Windows' programs for work, otherwise I wouldn't do it. But this is a nice, lightweight laptop and I hasn't run hot on my.

Ordered this with upgraded Intel Core i5 processor (from Gen 8 to Gen 10) & upgraded memory (from 256GB to 512GB). Received 2 days prior to when they said it was going to arrive. This is for my daughter to take to college as she used a MacBook for high school. She absolutely loves all the features including Siri & the touchbar. One of the best online ordering experiences you will have!
