Love this product!! I haven’t used a Mac in probably 10-15 years so I was a little skeptical at first about this purchase. I needed a new laptop for work and to maintain our work social media sites and our website and my son as well as the sales rep at Best Buy recommended this product. Wow!! Am I ever glad I listened!! Its been almost 10 years since I had a Mac, and I will never ever make that mistake again! PC's have been disposable machines and I cannot stand all that waste. The quality of this laptop inside and out is just amazing, and ease of use - HA, it makes you wonder why everything is overcomplicated. This machine is also fast, amazIng battery life, and I haven't had any compatibility issues at all with any of my media I already had. Certainly worth every penny!!

I highly recommend this MacBook Pro with i5 Processor + 16 GB memory and 512 GB SSD. Extra memory really helps the speed of this laptop. Purchased another 4 years ago and time for an upgrade. Retina screen is fantastic and sound quality has definitely improved. Keyboard is easy to type. Touchbar is an added plus. Excellent choice for work or pleasure and has enough computing power for heavy spreadsheet or just casual browsing.

Love how sleek it is. Would definitely continue to use MacBooks.

Great laptop had it for 2 years and still working amazingly

Does not look or really feel much different than the 2014 Macbook Pro I had, but it cost as much as a modern laptop. Now that I'm done with the Hyperbole, let me explain what I mean. I sold my 4 month old 2020 iPad Pro 12.9" because after getting the Magic Keyboard I was only using it with the keyboard, and losing the functionality of a full Laptop. I read and read about "should I buy now or wait for the new one coming (possibly in Oct/Nov)" and decided I have a need now, so now made sense. Right up until I got it home and opened it up. The bezels are as thick as a Sharpe Marker, the keyboard, while good, is the same keyboard that was in the old Macbooks prior to the butterfly fiasco. And we are forced to live under the sword of Damocles with the promise of newer, faster, better. Well, I think I'm going to buy a used Macbook and return this one, then get the new one when it arrives. Yes, this has the newest power hungry 10th Gen i5, yes it has the faster DDR 4 memory, yes it has 512Gb of fast storage, but its a laptop microwave. The worst part, I stayed up very late configuring it to make it mine, and my charge notifications started just short of 5 hours; FIVE HOURS! Is this 2020 or 2014, because that's the charge durability I got in 2014 out of my then new Macbook Pro. I need a laptop that runs 8-10 hours as advertised, I don't need bootcamp, I can't work with it if it is going to cook my lap, and if I'm paying $1,800 in 2020 it has to be an updated version. With all of this considered, I'm going to wait for the next version.

Pretty good, I understand it’s supposed to be light and air and it works very fast for what it is. However, the ports are just extremely frustrating and paying for converters is just not worth it

The computer is super fast and does all the work that we need. I didn’t give it five stars because the fan can be kind of loud and I’m not a fan of having to but USB-C hubs to connect things like mice or mics.

This product is very helpful for college students because there is enough storage and it is easy to work with. I really like the digital tab because its practical. I recommend this laptop especially is you are a youtube or a film student. It has made my life a lot easier because i am able to download as many apps as i want such as adobe products. The digital touch bar is really cool because i don't have to type my password.

When it comes to design, portability and power, the best Macs and MacBooks are among the most influential PCs out there. Their svelte yet surprisingly tough chassis, modern minimalist design and pretty powerful specs under the hood have been replicated many times over, though perhaps often unsuccessfully. That's because the macOS environment delivers such a seamless experience to which no Windows 10 or Chrome OS laptop can quite measure.

First time using Mac coming from Windows. Took me a while to finger things out. Kind of like driving on the right hand side in the UK LOL the configuration I got which was 16gb was worth it because you get the 10th generation Intel and more processing power. Skip the airmac and get the Pro! Spend a little more but you get something that will be more useful and last longer than the 8th generation chip of the cheaper laptop.

Upgraded from a base 2017 MacBook Pro. I am surprised by how much I like the Touch Bar. I use the Touch Bar way more then I ever use the Fn keys. Use cases vary so can't say either way whether 16 GB of RAM is for everyone or they should stick to the 8 GB, I run the jhipster RDA and Swift IDE on this machine and it's never gasping for breath. Which was an issue for my old MacBook.

The laptop is great! For starters it is really thin and portable which is something great especially if you travel a lot. The build quality is pretty great with its all aluminum classy which gives it a great look and feel. This laptop is powerful enough to do some video editing and multitasking but if you plan to play games this isn’t what you’re looking for. Overall this is a great laptop for professionals or students.

The associate who helped was very knowledgable in tech and was able to give me great insight on which MacBook to choose. Its fast working and does everything I need it too. It stays cool for the most part and does get slightly warm when streaming a movie and its almost towards the end of the movie. The battery life is great as well I have only needed to charge it a few times since owning it a month ago.
