Great MacBook Pro
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Specs At its core there’s a coffee Lake i5-8269u which is a quad-core processor with a base frequency of 2.4 Ghz and can turbo boost up to 4.1 Ghz. It has a beautiful retina 13.3 display with a resolution of 2560-by-1600 with p3 color gamut and it is quite bright (up to 500 nits of brightness). The display offers great color reproduction so if you’re a photo editor or video editor, you would be very pleased with the display. The MacBook Pro 2019 with Touch Bar has touch id with a beautiful OLED strip that can be used for different shortcuts. It also has very huge trackpad that is a delight to use. Design This MacBook Pro is carved from a block of aluminum and its truly stunning. This iconic design was first showed off in the 2016 MacBook Pro, at the time; it is by far one of best design laptop. However nowadays Pc manufacturers make computers with different premium materials. It doesn’t mean that the MacBook Pro design is subpar nowadays or anything, it’s still one of the best looking laptop. Performance Performance is really good with this MacBook Pro, it’s better than typical Windows Pc with an eighth generation intel core i5 on paper. Because it’s a custom chip for Apple which has a higher TDP than standard Intel i5 chip found in Pc. The i5-8269u has a TDP of 28w while a common intel i5-8250 found in many Pc has TDP of 15w. Price The price maybe hard to swallow, but the MacBook Pro offers plenty of power, great software (I’m not saying Windows is bad but Mac os has a very deep continuity to IOS, which is very intuitive and can be productive), and the design is pretty good. Pros and Cons Pros-Power, Display, Trackpad Cons-Price, It gets hot I have previously used a Windows laptop and I was looking at the HP SPECTRE X360 but after seeing the MacBook Pro on discount, I bought and I’m just amazed at the performance and smoothness of the MacBook Pro. Is it worth it for college students and overall average users.

Excellent computer

It performs well and is easy to use. The latest model has some upgrades to the key board and the processor is faster.

Screen very small

However, the screen is VERY small and it stinks that you have to buy an extra device for USBs because there is no way to insert them into the Notebook. Furthermore, the keyboard is not easy to work with and I frequently hit the wrong keys. Also, I bought an HP printer, and still cannot figure out how to set up on this Apple. But, I was able to connect to my 2010 Sony VAIO !! This is my first Apple product.
