do not recommend---computer is useless without a USB port

On the date these items were purchased, I was in possession of my credit card (NOT a Best Buy card -I NEVER use that one anymore) and these purchases were made in Thousand Oaks California! BUT I LIVE IN FLORIDA) BOTH Mac Books were purchased in CA but one picked up in CA and the 2nd was picked up in Charlotte, North Carolina. THE CONTRACT AND RECEIPT VERY CLEARLY STATED THAT ITEMS PURCHASED ONLINE REQUIRED A VALID ID WITH THE NAME OF THE PERSON WHO PURCHASED THE ITEM BUT WAS NOT DONE!! In BOTH locations this procedure was CLEARLY NOT FOLLOWED! My identification was in Florida with ME, the rightful owner of the card that was compromised. WHY was this requirement NOT followed!!!???

Great product, would recommend to family and friends

I didn’t actually buy this. Someone used my information to walk into a Best Buy, open a credit card, and buy a new laptop on the spot. Also this was in August of 2019 so I’m not sure why it thinks I “purchased” this last year. Anyway, their staff doesn’t bother to verify identity with a driver’s license or any picture ID, so pretty much anyone can walk in with a random DOB and SSN and walk out with a new laptop. When I called the regional manager to complain, I was told that “they have insurance” for that so I guess they really have no incentive to try to curb identify fraud.

Never liked apple but had to buy for ios app development and in simple word it is not worth the money. But with no option I was forced to buy one just I needed to develop ios app.

Supposed to be picked up... was told it wasn’t ready due to it’s the holiday and there’s a lot of orders and lots of people called out like it’s my problem and I should understand. My child was leaving on an international flt the next day and that’s her Christmas present so she just have to leave without it. And ain’t nobody can do anything since the item is on the floor. Mgr gave me a 800 number to call and complain and that’s just not gonna give me the laptop. So my child end up leaving SD without it. Will never buy from y’all again. So SD because a year prior I purchased another laptop from y’all about 3000 dollars. So sad!

Screen went black and wouldnt turn back on at 80% battery only 3 weeks after purchase. $1500 for a laptop and it wont turn on anymore. After 3 phone calls to applecare, being on hold for 10 minutes and talking to a tech for 15 minutes they were unable to troubleshoot the problem. Laptops sitting in a box by the front door waiting to be dropped off at FedEx so apple can try to fix it. Waste of money and time. Extremely disappointed. My $700 HP has lasted me 3 years with not a single problem.

Nothing but issues . Overheats and shuts down. Constantly needs maintenance. Over priced and bad quality.

Pros: -Great Battery Life - Touchbar is useful - Great, bright display - Amazing trackpad (best there is) Cons: -Keyboard is so-so you will either love it or hate it. - Pricy compared to other laptops - No USB ports, everything requires an adapter. Overall, I am very happy, it's still one of the best laptops out there, I wouldn't buy anything else as I'm a web developer and I love the Mac OS for developing.

The wifi won't stay connected! I sit right next to an old Mac book pro or an iPad and they don't have any problems but this new Mac book pro loses the wifi connection. When I purchased it they kept it at Geek Squad to get it ready for me as a Geek Squad customer. I've no idea what they did because it doesn't have virus scan nor has the operating system been updated.

I wasn’t really getting by what I was expecting from that Mac.

It is my favorite purchase item from Best Buy. I will recommend to my friends

Horrible expierence! I have to resend this MacBook out twice. I am still experiencing technical difficulties. I feel like anytime I send out my computer to be fixed it comes back worst.

The combination of touchbar failure (after less than two years of use), keyboard problems and the price of repairs make this laptop a terrible long-term investment.

Can’t do anything with it and don’t want to spend more money for the geek squad help also because I would have to drive a long distance for their help

Broken for the 2nd time in the last month, it's only 10 months old! Apple won't replace it. Bad product, bad service

I’d love to review this but Best Buy allowed someone using a fake I’d to purchase this using my account.

This computer is the worst! My old Dell is faster and can do a lot more. I will never buy another mac again.
