Sadly got a lemon, wouldn’t start and apple wanted me to go through repair steps. Thankful BB has a good return policy.

I bought this laptop on February 2019, it worked fine for one month then it started giving trouble. As soon as I open laptop screen flickers. once close and then open works fine. I wanted to return this laptop but it already passed 30 days (I am a elite member). I called apple support they did some diagnostics and ran some tests and said every thing is fine. Again after few day saw the same problem. Called Apple support again, they ask me to take this to local store. I took it to Troy Somerst store. technician completely serviced and said he fixed the problem. after a week again I have got the same issue. This time i went to local apple store ask for the replacement. That technician was so rude ,he said he can service it but can't replace. the worst service worst laptop. Never ever spend too much of money on this carp. Please don't recommend this product to your friends and family.I wanted to upload the video here but I don't have option to do it.

Cooling fan doesn’t work probably and the bottom of the MacBook gets real hot

Its good, recommend everybody to use it, when you start using it, start hating windows computer

Nice computer but unlike the desk top it would have been a much better deal with 1Tb of storage.

I bought this laptop for my college semester several years ago and it still runs and performs extremely well. I frequently used it to run Adobe programs for my assignments and it has always been very reliable. One downside I ran into was if you run a program too long, it can overheat and slow down. Other than that, I recommend this laptop for any college student that wants/needs a reliable Apple. device

In the past I have had great luck with open box items, but this was not the case this time. Despite being a certified open box item this computer had an issue with the screen that made it flicker and have shadows. The upside is Best Buy took it back and I bought a new one that works great.

Got this product during Black Friday sale great product and nice price

so I bought the 2017 version a few weeks ago. the day the 2018 version was announced, I immediately returned the 2017 version and got the 2018 version. I really enjoy the True Tone display and also the speed and battery life, I feel like it last's longer then the 2017 version. my only problem was that when I got this one it was getting super HOT like unbearable but Apple since sent an update to address the issue. I highly recommend you get this version. My reason for the 4 stars is because it is a little pricier and the touch bar is a gimmick and that the non-touch bar was not upgraded like this one so I was "forced" to get the touch-bar version. other then that its a great laptop.

It is amazing how very sloooow this laptop performs!! It takes forever for web sites to pop up. Click on a photo and it is ridiculous how long it takes to process graphics!! Its very disappointing for a Apple product. This laptop will be returned quickly!! Don't waste your money on this model!!!

So upset! First time I ever bought an apple and I didn’t even have it for 4 months and it broke! All I did was gently closed it knowing I had a pen at the crease I closed it (not all the way) went to open it back up and the screen is no longer working! The salesman must have not offered the protection plan because I buy protection plans on EVERYTHING! And there is no way I would have said No to any warranty I even warranty my cell phones! I just threw 1500 down the drain

Bought for my daughter. Had issue with machine taking updates. They replaced the machine and now it has happened again. Now we have to go thru Apple care which thankfully we bought. Stay away

The finder is so stupid, And It's hard for users to find some functions they want. Even some simple function, you still need to purchase and use additional Apps. Or need to google the terminal command. Actually, if you can spend some time on windows devices, you will find windows devices are so nice and helpful. The keyboard is also terrible. I don't know why so many people in Youtube praise Macbook. Maybe they never experienced or used the same level PCs. My ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th is much better than this stupid MacBook.

I bought this laptop with absolutely NO WARNING due a tragic and instantaneous loss of my prior computer I purchased for school. Having completely DESECRATED my Mac Air by accidentally dumping boiling water all over it to the point of no return, I was absolutely devastated. Being my first big self-purchase in life, that thing was my best friend... I took it everywhere. IT GOT ME THROUGH AP EXAMS! But sadly, as a college student, I could not go long without something else. So, to cheer myself up, I decided to go top of the line and purchased this BEAUTY and THANK GOD FOR THE BOILING WATER ACCIDENT. SO LONG MACBOOK AIR!!!! *Insert wave emoji here* This laptop is INCREDIBLE. It is impeccably fast, gorgeously sleek and light--which is great because I was not a pro user before, simply because I didn't care for the size--but it is definitely worth it. IT DOWNLOADED 30 GB OF PIC/VIDEO in 20 minutes with EASE. The same batch of pics took legit hours on my old laptop. I don't care what people say, the touch bar is totally worth the extra $$$ and anyone who disagrees is just jealous. I seriously enjoy this machine and I would 100,000% recommend to a friend for it's reliability, user-friendly and unique experience, and beautifully aesthetic design.
