Just bought the MacBook Pro updated 2018 model. This model is awesome! There is a difference and lots of improvement. Keyboard is the way it should have been from the beginning. Also the sound is awesome! I highly recommend! its my computer for home and on the go!! And Best Buy had in the store before anyone else!

Needed to get a new laptop to take back to University of Kentucky. All I can say is wow. The touch bar is amazing and defiantly worth the extra $$$. Bestbuy have me $150 off because I’m a college student. Good stuff and fast shipping! Thanks Bestbuy.

The laptop is handy to have when I need it. I edit videos and photos on it as well as organize paperwork for my business.. I do most of my work on my iPad so the MacBook rarely gets used, but works great when I need it

Having a Mac book Pro) older version and a desktop Mac, I am very disappointed in this MacBook Pro. I have had it for 10 month and started having a problem with my N key sticking. It would come and go. Finally was so frustrated, I took it MayFair Mall Apple store. I was told the way the keys were made, that this is a frequent problem. They tried to replace the key, ( also the period key and Q key, however, it did not fix the problem. So, now i have a expensive computer that i can expect to take in for a new key board to be replace every 10 months.....what happens after my warranty runs out????? I get to pay about $350. to keep my MacBook working. Sorry i every bought the top of the line MacBook.....Apple Mayfair stated, well, your options are to have it fixed or not have it fixed.....really, do those sound like fair options for a $1700 + laptop. Run as far as you can....don't be sucked in on this one or you will regret it!

Fast laptop compare to last year model with new features.

Overall this is one great laptop, and an excellent alternative to the MacBook Air or perfect computer for a previous Mac user. My rating is 4.5/5.

Powerful- everything responsive except t he keyboard. Or maybe it's too responsive. I'm takingm y laptop in to Mobile Macsters because the Geek Squad was too busy to dive into my keyboard issue (day after christmas). Admittedly, I didnot purchase geek squad protection and yet to purchase apple care. I have had it for 40 days and did not really type much on it at all until finals week when I realized I do my erasing than typing b/c of spaces inserted and letters registering where I don't want themt o register. Itm ayjust be myf ingers area ccutomed to typing on the work computer. Definitely would not recommend but I may be backt or emove the review.

The first day I bought my Mac I went home and updated it. Once the update was finished my cursor on my screen completely stopped working. The next day I went to the apple store and it took them 30 minutes to reinstall the update. This was just the beginning of the awful journey with this thing. Fast forward a few months later I updated it yet again and it shut down completely. I was told that if my wifi glitches even slightly it will cause it to crash. So there I go again and end up in the apple store and they once again had to reinstall the update because it wouldn't even turn on. Then after that update my Touch ID stopped working. Now my Mac will shut down all by itself randomly and then turn back on and reports it to Apple (even though it doesn't make any difference). Most definitely NOT worth the money. This thing has been problematic since the beginning and I will never get another one.

I did not think twice about getting the new (2018) Macbook with the touchbar until I got home and the touchbar went from being unresponsive to flashing and switching between settings uncontrollably on its own. I promptly returned the Macbook and was glad to know I could purchases another one without the touchbar. I don't have an issue with the 2018 Macbook Pro in general -- just wanted to let others know about potential touchbar issues. *I would recommend a Macbook, but I would not recommend one with a touchbar

I still need to see how it goes. It hanged up 4 to 5 times since I purchased. Hope it is not a defect piece

A hairline crack has developed on the lower left corner of the display which makes the screen useless. Multi-colored line run through the display where the crack appears. Just to make this clear, the crack is under the display screen which has no damage. I had taken in this laptop to apple and they said that it’s NOT covered by the warranty and that I must have dropped the computer or somehow damaged the display. Apple said that the cost to repair this as of 4/22/19 is $475.00 + tax. This computer is hardly used because I have an earlier model which is my main computer. I purchased the 2018 MacBook Pro in late 2018 and have taken measures to protect it from any damage. According to what I see on the web other have had this issue with the crack in the display. Apple if you listening, please stand behind you products and fix this issue.

Bought this computer 9/2018 and the keyboard has suddenly started adding extra spaces between words and sometimes even in the middle of words. Apple says a week or more if the keyboard needs replaced. It is insane that a tech giant like Apple cannot make it easier to repair something as simple as a keyboard. Next time I'll trust the reviews that talk about known issues before purchase.

Mac was working great but the battery was very bad. Returned.
