Overall, this MacBook has been really great. I was a former PC user, but had several duds in the past (Lenovo and HP) which broke down easily and had poor customer service. I have not had any troubles with my Macbook so far and I know that I can run to the apple store and have the genius tech bar assist me. I bought this from Best Buy because it was on sale and I had no troubles picking it up. Customer service was pleasant.

I love everything about this laptop, super fast and light and functional. I would suggest it to all the students. That’s exactly what you need.

This MacBook has all requirements I was looking for. Fast processor, enough storage (256gb ssd), robust body and light for mobility!

this is the perfect size laptop for going out or using at home. great integration with other apple products and touch bar is just wow

I am really happy with my new MacBook, this is my first MacBook and it’s the perfect size and I love the Touch Bar it is very useful.

So I had been rocking Dell and a HP Business laptops for years (from college and personal use) until it was time for me to finally convert to the "dark side" and get a MacBook....and I don't know what took me so long!!! So user intuitive, great processing power for when I need edit a photo/image in Affinity Photo or work on a song or production in Logic Pro X...this MacBook was everything I ever wanted! And the Touch Bar! It's my first child/pet, love it so much!

Replace my old 13" MBP. Slim design and touch bar is very useful for video/photo editing Bestbuy discount was really good too.

Service while buying and transferring data was excellent! MacBook Pro definitely ahead of its time, with great speed and excellent resolution. But also has downsides, such as requiring adapter to use any regular USB device with the Pro. Result: Inconvenient dongles hanging off laptop.

This laptop is a beast, you just can’t compare it with any other laptop. Incredibly fast and the display is just phenomenal.

Originally I had the macbook pro retina display (2014). It was time to upgrade due to my computer beginning to have batter issues. I was stuck between picking the macbook pro and the new macbook air. I based my decisions based on price and what I needed the computer for. If you are going to be using the adobe suite apps I highly recommend just spending the extra $100+ dollars and getting the macbook pro.

My first Macbook was a 2014 Air and it served me well (and still does) but the speed, extra storage (moved up to 256gb) and the Retina screen make for a significant upgrade. Very pleased with the purchase. I looked at the MacBook Air - Retina but the MacBook Pro Retina screen is much better. Highly recommend the Pro if the budget allows otherwise the Air - Retina is a worthy upgrade over a non-Retina Air.

Great performance and features, but definitely more on the pricey side even for Apple products. But if you're an Apple fan, this is a great MacBook with good speed. I will admit that the Touch Bar is a little gimmicky, but the 3rd generation butterfly keyboard on this model is an improvement compared to the previous generations and especially compared to the troublesome 2017 model that had faulty keyboards.

After a month, I really like this MacBook Pro. This is coming from a 2012 MacBook that would randomly restart so any working computer would be an upgrade from that. The screen is beautiful, the size is closer to an Air than a Pro and it has the quad core processor for editing photos/video. The key travel is much less than my old Pro which took some getting used to as well as having to carry USB-C adapters. Overall, this was a nice upgrade over my old MacBook Pro and I’m sure I’ll get 6-7 years out of this one too.

Good specs overall. Runs smoothly for my day to day usage. Love the touchbar. Glad I purchased this over macbook air.

Excellent computer. I didn’t think I would like the Touch Bar or use it very much but wow it is great for charting and homework . It does so much I continue to discover new ways to use it. Keyboard has zero issues so far. Light weight easy to carry. Charges fast.

I upgraded and updated my old MacBook Pro from 2010 with the new 2018 MacBook Pro with the Touch Bar and Touch ID. My old Mac just couldn’t handle my needs anymore My new MacBook Pro is truely amazing, it is lightning fast and the resolution is the best I’ve ever seen on any Apple laptop computer. The Touch ID speeds up unlocking the computer; it’s instant. Overall the best Mac I’ve ever owned!

I love my Mac! Super fast and the touch bar is awesome:) I’m a CS major and haven’t found any difficulty with programming on it!

I live apple laptops and tablet and this macbook pro with touchbar is no different. Very user friendly. I bought it certifird refurbished and it looks and works like its brand new. I wanted the space gray but the silver was on sale. Thats why theres 4 stars instead of 5

Since Apple decided to change the keyboards on the MBP line, I have been one of the disappointed fans. But this second generation of the newer keyboard is much improved. Not only that, I have noticed a marked improvement in the processor speed. I'm still not 100% sold on the touchbar, but it's worth it to get the better specs inside.
