I bought this laptop with the intent to use it for a podcast, discord, and twitch. Everything runs smooth when I run software for audio and video recording simultaneously. I also have an iphone too and everything syncs up which makes my life so much easier and productive. Definitely a must buy!

I’ve owned Apple products for nearly 10 years from iPhones to iPads, but this is my first MacBook. I’ve had to use a variety of others brands of laptops in various work settings from Dell and Gateway to Lenovo and HP. This MacBook is far superior to all those other brands in every aspect. I cannot imagine why an individual would pay money for those other brands if they have the financial ability to purchase a MacBook.

Nice replacement for my macbook pro 13" 2012 model. A bit lighter and thinner. Touchpad is much bigger, and the touch bar on top is kinda cool. I miss the light up apple logo on the cover. Now it's just a mirror finish. :(

Coming from the old 2012 MacBook Pro, I’m in love with my new computer. It’s faster and sleeker.

I think when you go to buy a MacBook you pretty much already know you're getting a great quality computer that has a few disadvantages. Like needing a bunch of adapters to do anything from running an ethernet cable to it or reading USB flash drives. I love the MacBook. We have a surface pro 4 as well. They each have pros and cons. A touch screen Macbook would definitely put it completely over the top.

Really like the 3rd generation keyboard over the 2nd. Much better and improved. Touch Bar really needs better developer support, wish it had regular keys, but oh well. Still much better than a PC laptop in my opinion and works better in my workflow. Would highly recommend this model over the new 2019, usually you can get a better deal on the 2018 and the performance is identical to the 2019 for most tasks.
