Processor is so much faster, computer is lighter - just can’t say enough!

This is my first Macbook. Three of my kids have Macbook Airs and constantly rave about them so I decided to take the plunge. I'm glad I did. The build quality is up to Apple's usual standards - I have had several ipads as well as an ipad pro - and the speed and ease of use is great. There was a much smalled user curve than I had anticipated. Love it and will own one forever.

Purchased this for Apple user who did not have a laptop but needed one. Looked at Mac Book Air which was less expensive but old technology. The Pro also comes without the touch bar but going to have this for a few years at least so went with the upgraded model. You get what you pay for with this laptop, needed for video editing and presentation work in addition to school and leisure.

Works just like advertised. All day battery, great display and fast!

I have had the MacPro 2 weeks now and have nothing but great things to say about it. I have always had Microsoft PC based laptop and got used to the them freezing up and have to reboot and lose things i'm working on. I haven't had any issue with the Macbook Pro freezing up and is incredibly easy to figure out the logic of how to do things. Great Retina display also. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Nice perfomance, good battery (8hours), excelent display and good build.

I switch from a HP laptop over to a MacBook Pro and I can say that it doesn't disappoint. The laptop is fast and for a college student as myself it is very functional, it allows me to accomplish everything that I needed to do that my HP couldn't.

Nice, thin profile, and I like the butterfly keys. I wasn't sure I would like the Touch Bar, but you can customize it so the volume and brightness keys stay there instead of changing based on the program. Overall, it works the same as my previous MacBook Pro. I haven't seen anything so far that's super unique. Also wish it had the old USB and SD ports, but I guess that's progress.

We were able to snag this item on sale! we got an amazing deal and it is so useful! We can multitask and it doesn’t freeze nor slow down. It’s 70% faster than previous models so if you’re on the verge of getting the 2018 vs 2017 model definitely go for 2018! As it has no defects as the other one.

The MacBook is really efficient and fast and easy to be put away anywhere

My family was able to order this experience laptop online and pick it up in store so easily. The staff was careful to give us exactly what we wanted. The machine is sleek and the space grey color is flawless. The touch bar works well and now I can create art better with this fantastic machine. I was also able to get the price match guarantee on this “ perfect for school,” laptop.

After using windows laptops for the last 20 years, there are a few hiccups with adapting to MacOS but it is clear that like all Apple products, both the hardware and software reflect purposeful design decisions that make the transition easy. More specifically, audio and display quality are both in a class above anything I’ve come across previously.

This was my first Mac purchase (long time Windows user) but have not been disappointed. Very nice form factor and integrates nicely with iPhone/iWatch/etc. Performance seems great and love being able to use Touch ID to get into computer. I don’t mind the four thunderbolt ports but you will need some adapters to use with this thing. Seems solid in every way!

This is my second MacBook Pro. I won’t use anything else. I do find it odd that none of the new Macbooks have SD card readers, USB ports and are not compatible with portable CD drives. I had to buy a port hub separately. It’s very lightweight. I use it on a cooling pad when I’m working for a long time. I do like the fingerprint reader for security.
