Apple should be ashamed for putting this computer out. It’s advertised as a 256 gig MacBook which realistically is small. Out the box the computer only has 50 gigs of free space, not 256. This computer is for people who don’t save anything and only use it to write emails and listen to Spotify/Apple music. If you have a lot of files and programs, avoid this at all costs. It doesn’t have enough room to install a single program once you turn it on for the first time. I have to strap an external hard drive to the back and use that as my primary storage. Also the computer doesn’t have standard USB A ports which means you’ll need to buy one of the many flimsy 3rd party adapters that. It’s cost me an extra $300 for adapters and hard drive needed to use this. If you can, I’d wait for the next iteration when Apple addresses these flaws because this one isn’t worth the money unless you’ve already adapted to wireless accessories and cloud usage.

First one I’ve owned, and I love it. Syncs perfectly with my iPhone, easy setup. Couldn’t be happier with it!

Was weary if I should buy the base version of the MacBook line but I have found myself very pleased with the specs and space of the computer. I have downloaded everything that I need for work purposes and still have plenty of room. I would highly suggest this machine and for those of you who guy it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I am coming from a late 2014 MacBook Air so when I say this is a HUUUUUGGGGE upgrade I do mean that. I love how sleek and responsive she is

I’ve had it almost two months and so far I love it!!! Does everything I need! Plus this is my first MacBook ever!! And I will never go back! My husband and I own everything apple so!!! But this MacBook is amazing! Camera is great! I love that I can message right off of it without stop what I’m doing. Editing my photos are so much better now! Best purchase yet!! Thanks to my wonderful husband!!! Best give ever

This is my first time as an Apple owner. I will say that this is VERY DIFFERENT and not as user friendly as I thought it would be....I find myself using Google very often to figure out certain commands. I don't like that it does have USB ports, HDMI ports etc as other devices. The external attachment to have this option is poorly constructed. I am having to purchase second attachment because the connectivity wears out quickly and I have only had this laptop for approximately 35 days. Other than that it's a nice laptop, but definitely not a first pick.

I bought this for my daughter to replace her older model, and we´re both delighted. We are loyal Mac customers and hope to continue relying on their product quality. Oh, and the folks at Best Buy provided great customer service.
