This is a great entry level laptop for for adults and young adults as well. Although it can't be expanded (RAM, Disk Drive) after purchase it gives you just what you need based on the requirements of the vast majority of software that you will run on it. Additionally, gotta love the resilience that comes with MAC OS, you won't have to worry about spyware, malware, and adware as much as you do with a Windows based machine.

I really like the functionality of this MacBook Pro. Everything from the keys to the mouse pad functions beautifully. I really enjoy the fingerprint ID that allows me to log in to not only the computer but the saved passwords to my online accounts. The Touch Bar at the top has a lot of cool features for adjusting the sound and brightness, switching between web pages, scrolling through videos, etc. The list goes on and on.

Great battery great shape, great texture. Oh the colors, oh the audio, the luscious sounds it projects. Oh the lovely bar. Although a rather antiquated keyboard, it would have been more resourceful to have the emoji on the keyboard.

Received as a gift to replace my old MacBook. Way faster than my old model and is super light

My daughter in high school wanted this Macbook Pro for school and other things that she had been using her Chromebook for. I expect her new MacBook Pro will be a strong-performing computer for at least the next 3 years. I also expect that I will save time with less need for my ‘parental technical support’ for her school apps. So far, she loves the fast and stable performance of all her apps, school and otherwise.

I've only had it for about a week and am still setting it up and learning how to use. When I'm in my office I like to use a mouse rather than the touch pad. I found out I had to purchase a special adapter to create a usb to plug in my own wireless mouse. The Apple mouse is $80. ..ouch! It was cheaper to buy the adapter. I only gave it a good for value as I do feel they are overpriced compared to other brand laptops.

I loved this computer and had it for a little over a year. Today it was stolen from me at gunpoint on my walk to work. I’m beyond upset and hope that it finds a new life somewhere as it has been my portal to the outside world during the pandemic. This computer ran just how I needed it to and will truly be missed. The M1 macs overshadow this now, but this one will always be special to me.

Exceeded my expectations! I'm a freshman in college and decided to get a MacBook Pro as my first laptop. So far it has worked flawlessly. I don't have any issues with it lagging or memory space. Sometimes I have run into it getting heated, but it only happened when I was doing a VoiceOver to a video I recorded. Either then that it doesn't get easily heated or makes that loud fan noise. I would highly recommend it instead of the MacBook Air. The quality in images and such is amazing and better than the MacBook Air if you're thinking of buying that one. For just $200-$300 more I believe is worth it! If you go to YouTube and search the comparisons in the MacBook Air vs. the MacBook Pro it is all true! I bought it in-store and used the price match from the Best Buy website, and I got it for less. Hope this review helped you in some way ;)
