While the price point is high, Apple will well pay for its self over time. The purchase of this machine replaced a computer I had for 8 years, not because it stopped working but because I wanted to upgrade. Long time Apple product user and Apple product user for life.

It's what you'd expect from the basic MacBook Pro line. The bump to 256GB storage as the base model (for the same price) is very nice. The new keyboard is amazing. It feels much better to type on, and I am less concerned about the reliability of it compared to the oft-maligned butterfly keyboard. I do a heavy "office" workload on it constantly, and it's always responsive. The CPU rarely cranks up too hard (unless I have a big Teams meeting going on), and the fans are unnoticeable most of the time. I never feel like 8GB of RAM is limiting me - even with multiple Office applications open, Teams, Safari, Mail, Music, Remote Desktop, VPN and everything else I usually have open while I work. It's a great little machine.

My old Macbook had a backlight issue, and as a college student I was in need of a new one. This one is great and I honestly enjoy the touch bar. It’s nice to have those quick short cuts super close to the keyboard without needing to use the track pad.

Like many Apple products, this is a great machine. We leverage it for work items and surfing the Internet. Runs smooth, fast and we know it’ll be relevant for years to come unlike windows products.

This is great base model mackbook pro .It has a great keyboard excellent display and very fast.The speakers also sound very good and it also good for for video editing and photo editing.i would fore recommend this product to anyone looking for a mackbook pro

Got this for my daughter for college and she loves it! Wanted to initially have store set it up, but they were closed and could only get curbside pick-up, so I was a bit reluctant. It was so easy to use and she was able to set up herself without any problems!!!!

My granddaughter needed this for online school because of the covid19 pandemic, so I purchased it for her and she is very happy with it! Needless to say, it is a total life saver for her studies and it has made her very happy! It is an awesome MacBook.

Genuinely awesome. I got this for my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. If you are looking for a very fast and great computer you should definitely buy this one. There is barely a time when I see her without it. Highly recommend!

I was reluctant to purchase a MacBook because I assumed transitioning to a Mac from PC would be overwhelmingly difficult, but it has been really easy. I love how everything syncs with my iPhone!

Love the pro. Had to switch from the Air to the base Pro because of the fan issue with the Air. Haven't had the fan kick on once with this laptop. If you're in need of a apple laptop choose this over the air. In my opinion much worth the additional $300.

Happy to have found this MacBook at Best Buy ordered it online and it was a Easy to pick up at the front of the store no hassle. I would suggest buying products online at best buy all the time!

Love this Macbook, but wish Apple would include at least 500GB in all their Macbook especially when charging for $1000.

I purchased this for school and I think it is a wonderful little computer. My only regret is that I did not purchase a larger screen size; however, you can cast to a smart TV so it is not a make or break when considering the purchase.

Originally I wanted the silver, but it wasn’t sold out in stores and I would have to wait. When I actually got the space grey, I actually love the color! It looks very sleek. This is my first MacBook, and I can’t believe I waited this long to get one!

Purchased it for Hubby, (Apple can do no wrong in his eyes). He loves the speed and it was a great replacement for previous Macbook, (that he had for 10 years). Upgrades such as the touch login make it worth the purchase. He really likes.

I am loving the MacBook Pro 2020 so far. I opted for the base model and was suprised to see how capable the 8th gen chip is. Battery life is superb, screen is gorgeous, and I enjoy typing on the new magic keyboard. Overall, this laptop has great value!

So far, so good. The stove is beautiful -it looks sleek and I love the option of only using the top oven... I am amazed at how quickly it preheats - less than 5 minutes to get it up to 450... my older oven took 20 minutes! I'm loving it so far!

Man the only reason to not buy macbook were the keyboard and the heating issues; the keyboard has been changed in the 2020 models. Unless you video render and use this as a main device it is a great laptop just change certain settings to run it cooler.

This is definitely the best laptop which I purchased recently. A best bet for the gift for students. Best battery backup. In beginning its bit difficult to understand the key combination if you not used iOS. But overall performance is really nice.

So far I've been liking this Laptop. Upgrading from a 2018 14' Dell. Pros: Looks really good Simple to operate Works for what I need it to Cons: Surprisingly slower to boot from complete shutdown compared to the Dell. Slower to load Web-pages than the Dell (Using Firefox on both) Sometimes when unlocking it freezes for about 30 seconds, its really annoying Price
