Worth the price
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my new upgrade. It was well overdue and it exceeds my expectations. I don't do much on my product besides homework and a little music recording. So, in my opinion it does what I need it to do.

256GB is the only downside.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apple Macbook is always reliable as usual, but only comes with 256GB, that is the only downside.

APPLE, WHY?
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love MacBook Pros, however, this lower-end model is not the best. Initially, I did not feel the more costly, higher-end models were worth the associated costs, however, I was wrong. Although newer, this model lacks in comparison to my older, 2015, 15-inch, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD MacBook Pro. It freezes constantly, and has TERRIBLE battery life and manufacturing issues (explained below). As technology advances, increased hardware capacity is often required. Any computer's base model should, at a minimum, support basic computing functions such as browsing the internet. What is the point of a computer if it does not? I feel it would be the resposnbility of company to deem it obsolete. After years of wondering whether my behavior or the item, itself, was the problem, I have determined it to be the latter. I plan to trade in this lower-end model and, instead, purchase a higher-end one. Once again, I am falling into Apple's trap. For my personal use, Apple's operating system is great; however, their hardware is awful. Unfortunately, maintaining the operating system I love comes at the expense of investing in Apple's over-priced, poor-quality hardware. While an emulator may help, it is not preferred, nor ideal that it would need to be considered in the first place. To elaborate, my screen broke as I tilted it forward to reduce glare. I had hardly even touched it. Apple informed me that the occurrence was likely a result of dust having accessed the area behind my screen. After some online investigation, I learned this was not an uncommon occurrence for those who used this model. I presumed Apple, a 'reputable company, would have thoughtfully designed and manufactured its products in support of durability or, in the case of quality issue recognition, at least accepted responsibility and remediation-associated costs. This was not the case. I was held responsible for the repair. Suspiciously, the repair resulted in my screen being replaced with one different than before - one that prevented dust from accessing the area behind my screen. It became clear Apple knew the model's screen was flawed. They had already developed a new, improved screen for use in repairs - a screen that should have been used from the beginning so as to avoid screen-related issues entirely. Apple developed a suitable screen for use in repairs, avoiding future, post-repair liability, however, refuses to admit the model's screen is flawed. I feel it is only a matter of time until a lawsuit is filed and the model's standard screen is listed as an "Apple Service Program". Unacceptable. Apple, bring the quality of your customer service and hardware up to par with your operating system and software integration capacity. You are avoiding costs associated with duplicative screen repair if found liable at the expense of your consumers. Yes, you told me you will reimburse the costs of my repair if you are deemed liable, however, it is clear you hope you are not. You develop the correct screen and perform repairs with it so that if liability is found, you avoid duplicative repair costs. However, in your own words, there have been no issues identified with the model's initial screen. Then why made a different one? You capitialize on the consumers need to repair. You profit. If you are 'found out', you simply reimburse consumers for initial repair associated costs instead of having to reimburse initial x associated costs AND additional, secondary repair associated costs had the initial screen be used for repair the intial repair. All the while, you proactively avoid resolving or accepting responsibility for the issue many other consumers will undoubtably have. This MacBook Pro? 2/5 Apple's care for their consumers? 0/5

The performance is there
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originaly boight the cheaper model but figure it was better to upgrade to the 10th Gen chip. The difference is noticeable and as well, speakers sound amazing. Definitely recommend if you can afford it.

The MacBook Pro works fast and efficiently.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is such an upgrade from my old MBP. Learning to appreciate the Touch Bar and adjusting to the flatter keys on keyboard. Overall this laptop works smooth and does exactly what I need with precision.

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love my MacBook Pro. I had switched to a PC laptop from a Mac 2 years ago for budget reasons and regretted it almost immediately. So glad to be back on macOS and the ease of use from Apple.

Love & Hate relationship.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this laptop. But if I was being honest I could have easily bought a $300 HP and been happy. I use this for the most basic of things and wish I didn’t drop 1700 on a silly laptop.

A classic, now with a winning keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my 2017 macbook pro that had a buterfly keyboard with this 2020 version already with a traditional keyboard. A highly recommended change. This keyboard is a blast. I use it a lot with SAP software under Windows. Function keys are a great plus since almost all modern computers assume and force us NOT to use the “function” keys (F1, F2, F3). I have MS Surface but it is a headache that the use of these keys is not friendly. Incredible for the Macbook Pro 13 2020 it has that additional plus that I can fix with the "function" keys which has helped me avoid several annoyances per day. Excellent computer. Good cooling system. Totally recommendable.

Great laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great laptop! It’s the best laptop I’ve ever used. It’s got a toolbar on top of the keyboard, right above the keys that allows you to unlock the laptop with your finger. Very nice!

MacBook for Me!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased as a Birthday gift for my wife and she loves it. MacBooks are much more dependable that your average laptop. Took a bit of getting use to, but the quality and speed is untouchable.

MacBook Pro is great.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been an apple fan for a long time. The Touch Bar is great. The only thing I don't like about the Touch Bar is that you can unintentionally activate functions when you accidentally touch it.

Macbook Pro 2021
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer is fast and easy to use. I hope it will last as long as my last Apple. I just gave up using my 2009 Apple macbook, which is still going strong but working much slower now.
