It is awesome and super fast. I wasn’t sure about buying this because of the price. I don’t regret it at all.

There is so much that this MacBook does that I don’t utilize. However, I wanted something that would hold up to stress and something that would not be just a throwaway. The security is fantastic and best of all, you don’t have to deal with that joke of an operating system from the other people that is terrible and expensive. If you just pay a little more up front from Apple, you get so much more of a superior product than from the other guys.

Nice laptop. Purchased at the tail end of the production run (before the M1 generation). I feel comfortable sending my daughter off to college with it. The Touch bar is a pretty cool feature too. Need to find a PC that does something similar.

It's a Typical Apple product. Pricey yes but you get what you pay for. Overall very happy with it. Minor gripe is that there should be a usb c port on each side left and right. Not just both on the left side. Not every situation makes both ports on one side useful. This minor change alone would make this an excellent product. The new keyboard is wonderful and has been covered AT LENGTH by every review, journalist and you tuber so there's that. But should you wait for the new Arm versions? If you need a new MacBook pro right NOW..get it! But if you can wait till possibly the end of this cursed year then wait for the new Arm versions. Apple promises so much with these new Macs And they are the future of the platform. To recap If you're absolutely need a macbook pro now then yes this is a great, buy it. If you can wait, then just wait I'm sure the new ones will be worth it.
