    This is my first Apple product. I've used about 4-5 windows laptops and they all spotted working after 4 years so I'm hoping this last me a long time. I got this for graduate school and it is an amazing laptop with a great screen and the speakers are unbeatable. Definetly worth it! It's more expensive than most windows laptop but I think it's worth it because it will last longer.

    Macs are more upfront cost but by the time you 'add' essentials to a PC purchase, you've reached the same price point! Of course, the PC does allow you to do without and pay less. Why would you consider such option when you get no finance charge through your Best Buy card? And, you'll get a trade-in value towards the end of life when it's time for an upgrade.
