Great Laptop but the new models just came out.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a great laptop, nothing to complain about but I bought this the last week of April 2020 and the new redesigned models with better specs, cheaper prices and with the new keyboard came out the next week so I was glad that I was able to exchange for a newer/better model.

My prized possession

They last for easily a decade, continue to receive updates for many years and feel new the entire time if you take care of them. I’ll never buy a PC laptop again in my life. I use them for work and always wish I were on a MacBook. The touchpad is unparalleled in the industry. The laptop wakes up fast and is ready to go. If you’re afraid to buy a Mac because you use PC elsewhere, take the leap. You’ll be glad.

Apple makes the best hardware/software integration

MacOS is stable and just works. Wifi is one such example: Apple's driver and hardware are much better than similarly priced Windows based computers. The keyboard is fine despite some critics' complaints about dirt trapping that causes stuck keys. The 2.4Ghz quad-CPU is very responsive; screen looks great and the laptop stays cool under normal operations. Thunderbolt 3 connections are great. The only downside is the necessity of the USB-C doggies and cables needed for legacy devices.
