Has turned out to be a suitable replacement but the USB-C change has required some adjustment.

Have not had one issue with this Mac book, definitely one of Apple's finer products. I cringe every-time I have to use my non Apple work laptop. These are solid machines, reliable, no antivirus needed nor do you have to pay for for new OS like a windows product. No touch screen, but they are so solid, therefore, I can overlook that shortcoming.
