The only bad issue is not having a SD card slot and the other connections the older macs had. But other than that it's great and I actually like the touch bar more than I thought I would.

This is my first Mac and drove me crazy for about the first hour until I just gave into the fact that everything is different from every other computer I have ever owned. However, by hour two I fell in love with it. You need to put on your intuitive cap to start figuring out the differences, but once you do it is smooth sailing.. still learning the new ropes, but loving it!

My third Mac. Absolutely solid performance. Love the Touch Bar.

I've only had the computer for a month with light use. I've been a MacBook Pro user for the past 9 years and this is my 3rd computer. I like how thin and lightweight this computer is in comparison to my old one. The touch bar hasn't won me over whatsoever but that's all that Apple sells these days on the Pros. I like the large touchpad. The whole computer seems to get 'dirty' with oil stains and fingerprint marks in a much more obvious way than my old MBP. I think the comp has a lot to offer but I oftentimes miss how things used to be made. I would not buy this Mac at full price if you can avoid it.

It’s light weight slick and performance is excellent

The computer and hyperdrive get very warm when in use, yet that's the only way to connect USB devices. That's inconvenient and concerning.

The MacBook Pro is a solid machine, well-built with “OK” specs for the price. It’s by no means a value leader at the regular price, but since I bought it on sale, I got a good deal. The keyboard is still the weakest part of the design, and I wish Apple could include a HDMI port, maybe even a SD card slot. Naturally you can add those using the bag of adapters you will inevitably end up buying also. I’m personally a fan of Mac OS and so paying the Apple premium and living with adapters is a tradeoff I’m willing to make.

I’ve grown up using Windows computers, and was honestly both curious and worried to switch to a Mac. But I really love my laptop so far! The battery life is really great and the fact that it doesn’t have any fans (so it’s quiet!) is really great. Perfect for using in class and convenient to take anywhere.

So far, so good. My first ever laptop. I bought it for school (graphic design student starting in January 2020), so haven't really used it much yet. I love the touchbar. I went back and forth thinking if I needed it or not. So glad I got the touchbar. Its awesome and an added convenience!
