Working in the IT industry, I've used Microsoft Windows most of my professional career and personal life. As of late, it feels like Microsoft has been pushing some inferior products. The August updates "was the straw that broke the camel's back." Numerous instability issues for both the OS and installed software made me get a MacBook Pro. Other than a couple of ID10T errors on my part, the OS seems to be extremely stable. Even after an update, I wasn't worried the system would BSOD. I was able to install VMware Fusion for Windows and Linux access as needed. Configuration was a breeze compared to my attempt on my Windows laptop. Both guest OS's also seem to run better as well! Listening to any audio is a great experience so far. Music plays crisp and clean, streaming movies or TV with no issues. Battery life is fantastic! Connected two 27" FHD external monitors and didn't experience the "fire hose" drain as compared to Windows laptops. If I'm on battery all day, I don't have what I'd call "charge anxiety". Keyboard is smooth, and very responsive. I don't get "finger fatigue" from typing on it all day. Screen is superb! Colors are vibrant, images are high quality, text is crisp and clean. Make for a very enjoyable experience. I bought the model with 24GB RAM and the M4 Pro chip for work needs but, I haven't had any complaints. I did buy AppleCare for insurance and piece of mind. If you're looking for a new laptop that can really "do it all", I'd highly recommend the new MacBook Pro.

Excellent computer. Display @ 120hz is amazing. Probably the nicest screen in our home. I got it on sale for $1300. I got the base Pro with 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and the base M4. It was between this and the 15" MacBook Air with 512GB SSD. Only $100 difference between the two, and the screen was definitely worth the upgrade. Battery life is fantastic. It handles everything I throw at it with absolute ease. Definitely a great quality purchase.

i'm so glad i made my new macbook pro 14" purchase. it was definitely time to updgrade and it has been a world of difference from my 2017 macbook air. i was concerned about the size and weight of the pro, but it's been fine. it's certainly heavier than what i was used to but the speed and capabilities are unmatched over the air.

Good little computer, fits in a mid sized purse easily enough as well as has great battery so far only have to charge it very couple of days with general use for few hours at shot. This college masters student is happy. Everything ported over smoothly as well given I have a iPad and iPhone too. Being able to text from my computer while working is a game changer.

Such an amazing laptop for pretty much anyone. The base model has enough power for basically anyone. I mainly use it for video editing, photo editing, and playing games. The speakers are phenomenal, display is so much better than the air, and the size is JUST RIGHT. Not too big, not too small. If you are considering buying a macbook, I would 100% recommend this one.

Came in because my MacBook lost its ability to connect to any wifi signal. Store consultants were knowledgeable and answered all questions. This MacBook is perfect bringing me up to date. Transition of everything was easy. Battery life is great and so is the processing speed. Much needed upgrade and worth the price even if it hurt a little in the moment.

I debated this purchase for a long time given the price but I am so glad I decided to go for it. I've used Mac exclusively for 15 years and have always had a good experience with them. I recently started running some programs that need a little more juice than my prior MacBook Air was built for so I wanted to upgrade to something with more RAM and Memory. Considered moving away from the MacBooks due to the cost but decided against it and am so glad I stuck with Apple on this. The Pro isn't that much heavier than the Air was, the speed is unbeatable, it runs perfectly smooth, the display is crystal clear. I have nothing bad to say about it, truly.

Love this computer! I had a macbook air before this and it is not much heavier than that. The camera is crystal clear. It's fast... the keyboard is easy to use... overall LOVE this computer. I wish they had more colors available but I was in a pinch. Which by the way, the staff at Best Buy in Secaucus, NJ were AMAZING! the Manager of the store (not sure if there is more than one) helped me resolve some issues I had trying to do a same day pick up. He was very kind. The staff all around were very kind and helpful. Highly recommend going there if you need anything.

i went from a 2020 macbook air to this macbook because work required something more capable and i am incredibly pleased with this device. i went from 2 usb C ports to 3 C ports, an HDMI, SD card reader AND a headphone jack! i was able to take advantage of all of the ports. i have a second monitor hooked to my HDMI port, 2 USB cabled connected for multiple devices and with the extra C port i was able to connect a Hard Drive/SSD reader for data recovery! i absolutely recommend anyone with an older macbook upgrade to this laptop!

Overall, it’s a great product — everything feels like a pro and I genuinely enjoy using it. The only drawback for me is portability, since I’m coming from a MacBook Air M1 which was much lighter. That said, the extra weight actually brings some advantages: better cooling, longer battery life, and a more solid, premium build.

I upgraded from a 2019 intel iMac. This laptop is an absolute dream. No lagging or stuttering with multiple apps and windows going simultaneously. I was concerned about the screen size coming from a 21.5, but I’ve not had any issue adjusting to the smaller screen. It is so crisp. I love the built in Touch ID and the ability to unlock with your Apple Watch. The battery life is phenomenal. I’ve worked on it all day without having to plug in starting at a full charge. Works seamlessly with my iPhone and iPad, and also screen mirrors perfectly to my tv when needed. The track pad works identical to the magic track pad with the iMacs which I really appreciate.
