This MacBook Pro is insanely fast! The M4 Max chip handles everything I throw at it, video editing, design work, and tons of apps open at once with no slowdown. The screen is gorgeous and super bright, and the new Space Black color looks amazing (just shows fingerprints a bit). Battery lasts surprisingly long for how powerful it is. Pricey, but if you need a laptop that can do it all, this one’s worth it.

First off, I want to start by saying this computer is absolutely amazing. I can flawlessly run multiple intensive applications at once like Lightroom classic. Photoshop. And davinci resolve. The battery is phenomenal and can last multiple days with a few hours of use each time. The screen is super bright and high quality that it makes editing photos so much more satisfying. With that being said, this computer still can get quite warm sitting on your lap while in applications like Lightroom classic, but it’s not too uncomfortable. Gaming is a not something I would consider great on these machines. While the gpu is impressive, it still struggles to run games like rust. I did see rocket league was over 100 fps but haven’t had a chance to try on my own yet. Overall, I love this computer. Thanks for reading my review.

Each year I'm disappointed that BestBuy does not off the highest end MacBook Pro (with the most processors, more RAM, and enhanced screen), but this one is a solid offering all the same. One downside to the MacBook Pro, however, is that it continues to buck the trend of touchscreens - so my kids and wife are constantly trying to touch the screen like they do their iPads and iPhones. While the iPad launching the M4 was a HUGE leap forward from the prior generation M2, the move from the M3 Max to the M4 Max on the MacBook Pro didn't drastically change things for me. It feels like it is marginally faster but the laptop physically looks identical to the M3 Max. This is thicker than the Intel-based MacBook Pros of the past, but feel durable and sturdy. I certainly recommend the 14" vs the 16" if you plan on actually using it as a laptop (I travel with mine constantly - and even the couple of inch difference makes a big difference in portability and weight). I love my MacBook Pro. I have owned one for over 20 years. I will always choose Apple. Through work, I use a PC daily. I prefer Mac all day everyday. This is an excellent machine with lots of power and memory. Battery life is longer, multiple programs running smoothly and terrific display, so crisp and clear.

Fastest laptop I’ve ever owned & battery life is way better than my prior MacBook Pro. Price is ridiculously expensive of course and probably not worth it, but I only upgrade once every 5 years. But really, Apple doesn’t need a Best Buy review, I’m just here for the sweepstakes.

Top notch build quality and super fast performance that only Apple can develop. Use it primarily for software development and Xcode SwiftUI previews annd Swift compilations are a breeze on this. deliberately future proofed by choosing the Pro Max edition.

Great little MBP. Can do a lots of apps simultaneously without a hitch, or overheating. I like the number of available USB-C ports. I connect a docking station and use the USB-C for power input, docking station for two external monitors, ethernet, external disks. Worked like a charm the very first time I connected. I run a lot of AI modeling, and this little laptop just breezes through these.

As someone who recently switched from Windows, the MacBook Pro 14-inch with the M4 Max chip has been an incredible upgrade, and getting it as a Black Friday deal made it even better! The performance is outstanding—it handles everything from multitasking to resource-heavy applications like a breeze. The 36GB of memory and 1TB SSD offer lightning-fast speeds and plenty of storage, while the Liquid Retina XDR display is absolutely stunning for creative work. The transition to macOS has been seamless, and the Space Black finish is just beautiful. It was a great deal, and I couldn’t be happier with the switch. Highly recommend!

I've always purchased the largest screen MBP models thus far but I decided to try the 14" this time. It took a while for me to get used to the small screen but if you have a larger external display, this shouldn't be a deal breaker. 16" models are heavier so my back thanked me for buying this one =) Performance is extra ordinary and the speakers sound great! While battery life would depend on tasks you perform, I've been operating on battery mostly and it seems to hold up the charge pretty well.
