Been running autocad, adobe photoshop and Lightroom in the beginning it was great, but now I’m noticing it start to choke on the programs if I run them simultaneously. Otherwise it’s good. Oh and so far the MacBook only froze once, don’t know why and there wasn’t much I could do since the mousepad also froze with it. If you don’t plan on using it how I am then it’s a great buy since it also connects to my phone and Mac mini seamlessly. I can go from one screen to the next and basically make it as if I have 2 monitors if needed.

I was really looking forward to the increased performance of this M4 Max Macbook Pro, but when I discovered that it doesn't support 3840x1620 resolution, which I need for my external monitors, I returned it. This replaced an M1 macbook pro. It is brighter and faster. I have no complaints so far.

This is seriously one of the more affordable "best" MacBooks, hoping it would last a good 5 years like my last one with Touch Bar. I loved the Touch Bar and the usb-c charging. This can be charged with the USB-C as well, but not sure if that's better compared to the MagSafe charger.

Needed this for work. Used to have an older Macbook with the intel chip and these are a far improvement! Never feel like my renders are too long.

Love it. Too much power for my needs but its awesome nevertheless Screen is as big as I need and the display is fabulous If I was purchasing a mac Today, I would go to a M4 MBA with 24 GB

Can hold a lot of open windows at the same time. Useful for multi-tasking

Fast. Perfect computer. Switched from an Intel Mac with 8gb ram. Purchased 16 in m4 pro 48gb ram. One negative is if you’re buying for Apple intelligence, it’s not very useful yet.

A pretty decent upgrade from the M3 max and the black friday specials brought the pricing in line with the M3 from las year. Great machine if you can get it under $2900

Great device. The battery life is long, and the computer is decently heavy, so beware if you plan to carry it around a lot. The keypad is finicky, so if you have nails, also just beware. As a laptop it's great though.

I didn’t realize this nice computer didn’t have a backlit keyboard (or how much this mattered to me). And I miss the Touch Bar on top. It’s very basic.
