Fast enough to run local LLM models up to 14B parameters, in combination with the awesome battery life. Under lighter loads I've been able to get ~20 hours of battery life out of it under constant use. Heavier loads yield me ~11 hours depending on what I'm doing. I paired mine with a matte screen protector (since I didn't get the nano etched display), and I couldn't be happier.

This is a fantastic laptop. It is fully equipped for years to come . The features are incredible and it’s Apple. I probably don’t need to say more. It’s just fantastic. It had so many new features that there aren’t even enough examples to give It’s designed for fast growing technology

Bought it for my new business and it's sooo sooo fast in editing and processing videos. What used to take 8 hours now takes me 3. I'm sooo happy

I upgraded from the M1 Pro, and the difference is definitely there. I love how fast and efficient the programs run. I highly recommend this to anyone who has an Intel based Mac, or even anyone with a base M1 Mac.

Stunning machine and yes pricey. I do love Apple products if for no other reason than they are truly amazing quality and incredible at integrating one’s whole collection of products. Headphones, keyboard, mouse, iPhone, other Apple laptops.. it just goes seamlessly together and works.

Bought this for photography and music production. Hasn't had a single hiccup when I use multiple tracks using heavy CPU in Logic, and it's also fast! Happy I upgraded from the M1 Pro, which wasn't a slouch by any means, but this is just that much better!

I couldn't be happier, amazing screen and long battery

When I entered Best Buy, I was certain that I wanted to buy a MacBook Pro, but was hesitant on the price and how long it would take to deal with a “salesman”, checkout and start using my new device. The gentleman assisting answered all my questions and even gave me great advice for what I’d need as a filmmaker. The checkout process was the quickest I’ve ever experienced purchasing a computer, and on top of that we also started a Best Buy credit card in literally less than 10 minutes, which saved us even more money! Overall, I give this experience a 10 out of 10. Whatever Best Buy did with customer service and better than affordable prices, keep it up! Thanks!

I absolutely love Apple products - I am going on my 3rd iwatch, my 3rd iPad, my first iPhone didnt even have a phone from Apple, it was the “wheel” music player (remember those? I still have mine - i just can’t part with it!) now, about 4 or 5 upgrades later, i have an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and now too, my 2nd MAC Laptop! This one is not much different from the one i bought 2 years ago, they both have 1 TB to save all my programs and music and photos! I have cloud spce too, but i usually run through that also and i really hate having to pay a monthly fee for cloud storage, or anything else actually! The problem i have with this one is everytime i put in SERIAL NUMBER, Microsoft tells me its wrong! What? I copy with Control C, paste with Control V, still get the same message. I have even copied this message and sent to support at MAC. All i get is free months of more usage of Apple programs the laptop came with - which is great, i am not complaining - trust me, i check the box for YES (mama didn’t raise no dummy here)!! However, i would really like to resolve this problem! Right now, i just keep using my old MAC - but there is going to come a time when the “BUSINESS” information I need is on the other MAC! How to resolve this problem?

It’s the best laptop I’ve ever owned! Worth every penny! I’m a masters degree student that does coding and it’s been great for my needs!

It's a giant leap in performance over any Intel-based Mac. I'm coming from a 2020 13" MacBook Pro and this M4 Pro MacBook Pro smokes it in every way. In Adobe Lightroom, the AI Denoise function would take at least 2 minutes for a 40MP RAW file on the old Intel MacBook Pro. With the M4 Pro, it's under 10 seconds. The updated display is better than my M2-based MacBook Pro I have for work.
