I needed a replacement for my 2018 laptop and this seemed actually like a crazy value. The condition was flawless and came with everything it was supposed to. Performance is amazing for my demands. Looking forward to daily this thing for at least 8 more years

So I would like to say I was at first super hesitant on spending the money on this computer. I just at first could not reason spending that kind of money but I decided to take a leap of faith and do it and I’m glad I did elaborate on that first things firstthe thunderbolt five capabilities in reality Support about 80 GB of data transfer as far as 120 GB that’s only for like certain display situations as far as I’m aware something to that effect, just wanted to note that. I use the Mac Pro for my ASMR videos and I must say it has impressive capabilities. Considering this is my first Mac. There’s been a lot of things that I am still learning and honestly some things I genuinely don’t understand like you download something and then have to eat check it or something to that effects. Still not totally grasping the concept of that that for me is very new and I find it to be a little redundant if anything, considering Max are supposedly the best but aside from that as far as display goes as far as capabilities with the thunderbolt five I’m glad I purchased the thunderbolt five cable you can connect it directly to your iPhone and pretty much stream or record 4K video as long as you’re utilizing the correct software and or applications, in addition to that, I would like to say that if you’re considering spending less money and not getting the pro, don’t even buy the Mac save your money up or just don’t do yourself at the service and purchase anything below a pro because you’re realistically short, changing your experience, a pro offers significantly more and include its neural network or whatever they call it a neural something integration I forget, but what it offers is actually incredible. The Apple Intelligence is about as stupid as it comes. I will say that I don’t find anything intelligent about it whatsoever. I will say the iMovie is incredible and the integration with ChatGPT seems like a good idea up until you try to use the integrated version of ChatGPT that is offered with the Mac. I will say if you’re into the AI end of things and building your own AI and utilize open source hugging face or any other resources like that or Ollama Mac has a resource online where you’re able to do a very broad and very interestingly, capable amount of things you can do some very cool stuff with machine learning or building your own machine learning for an AI if that makes any sense when I can’t afford it, I look forward to purchasing on Max and solely utilizing my pro for the ASMR, the price of the laptop is incredibly expensive and honestly discouraging considering I’m a normal person that just had a baby and worked 60 to 70 hours a week and an emergency room as well as go to school, but it definitely is worth it. There are a lot of pros to purchasing this laptop and not purchasing the regular version that Mac offers or the that air or whatever. processing capabilities are significantly different with the pro and way better with the max, that being said I purchased the cheapest one that was available as far as the pro version goes. I purchased a 512 GB and then just purchased an external SSD storage, which is one touchy and I brought that for like $100 at Best Buy. There is a adapter. I guess recall it that you can connect two of your USB-C ports to because I think you only get three USB-C ports which are technically three thunderbolt five ports if I recall correctly and the adapter increases the USB and USB-C ports by like one or two I will say I am currently looking into purchasing the thunderbolt five dock hubs they are expensive. It’s about $500. However, there is other alternatives that you can purchase that are significantly cheaper and still the thunderbolt five capabilities. There are some that have SSD or storage that are expandable storage where you can install your own own additional storage and it’s not too expensive. It’s like 60 to 80 bucks but for context you are spending about 3 to $400. In reality you’re only getting like four additional ports. I would like it also noted that the iMovie and all the other programs that go with Mac are absolutely wild. I had not a slightest clue Apple offered what it offers and you can do some various astounding work with what Apple provides as far as programs go overall as much as the computer is expensive I am very happy that I went ahead and purchased the laptop. I have notice significant differences as far as video quality is concerned and just simplicity for integration and various things for tasks that I’m looking to complete are just easier now that I’ve slightly grasped how to use a Mac if you’re gonna make a purchase, I would recommend this computer, expanding your storage and ports by spending the additional $500 but if you can’t afford that spend an extra hundred dollars at Best Buy and just buy an additional one tetra byte storage and make sure that you get the storage that does at least 1000 MB per second I believe for the thunderbolt five you can get up to 6000

I’ve had the M1 MacBook Pro ever since it was released, but I made the mistake of buying the 8GB option. I use it for work, and I have way too many files. I decided to buy the M4 chip MacBook Pro, and I expected the same high end performance but with the memory I needed. I have only had this laptop for a few weeks, and I am pleasantly surprised! I can easily tell how much faster it is than the M1 chip and how much more seamless it is using multiple programs at once.

Honestly, I probably didn’t need the M4 Pro version, but coming from a 2017 Intel i5, this was a massive upgrade for me. Apple products just work well out of the box with very little setup needed. Blazing fast startup, thunderbolt 5 ports transfer speeds are great. Overall a huge recommend.

Great laptop. Size and weight are perfect for everyday public transportation commuting. Powerful enough to run simultaneous runs of adobe software including Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, etc.

The M4 Pro chip is insanely fast. I use this for software development, multitasking, and even occasional video editing, and it handles everything effortlessly. Apps launch instantly, and I can run multiple heavy programs without any lag.

This product came from Best Buy in a quality wrapped box. Delivery was on time. MacBook Pro right out of the box was a sleek beauty. Design is great and performance even better. A quality display with superb sound and top-notch camera. For a price of $1699.99, it was a very nice purchase.

Upgraded from a 2019 MacBook Pro. While I loved my Touch Bar, the MacBook was intel based and unfortunately could not keep up with basic processes anymore. This new computer is absolutely amazing. Would highly suggest

Best laptop for on the go work. I use mine for coding, AI LLM hosting, Adobe Suite and more. As an on the go IT consultant that primarily uses Windows, it's still such a convenience that I can use this laptop over my much heavier, and only 2 hour battery life, powerful Windows laptop. No need to hunt for outlets in someone elses office or home. Being mobile when evaluating an entire building just can't be beat. Relying on a dongle for some of my needs however will always be a problem though. Cons: Missing a USB A and ethernet is rough. Would rather go without the HDMI or SD card slot as we all have a dongle for them by now anyway and are much easier to find. Missing ethernet is especially silly when the laptop doesn't support WiFi7. Fast WiFi 6 is fine, but touting less ports and wires is their dogma. Not using the latest standard that has been out for a year (WiFi7/Bluetooth cards are only $50 max and cheaper), is just silly for a laptop at this price or at least with the option to upgrade at a premium. With storage at a premium, accessing external storage as Apple intends through thunderbolt storage or NAS is always a huge caveat in mine and customers' work. Overall still gets the job done so well for the portability. Hard for anything else to compete.

My 14” Macbook Pro is perfect for my design programs in school: it has plenty of space, can handle multiple things running, and isn’t hard to carry around in my backpack.

This is my first Macbook after a lifetime of using Windows PC, I've always loved the look and feel of Macs but feared the learning curve of using a different OS. I now regret not trying it sooner, transitioning was a breeze - I can't even tell you when it happened since within a week, I was all really intuitive for me. Now to find more free time to mess around with music production on this monster... Let me not forget the battery life, I'm used to new laptops lasting almost 8 hours, but I used this beast intermittently for the first couple of days before i realized i should have my charger handy because i was at 20% - really well pleased with this purchase.

Im already an Apple user and this laptop was the perfect buy. Its processing speed is fast, its sleek, has a great amount of space for the many documents I need saved on a regular. I ordered and paid online for in-store pickup. It was ready within 2 hours and I was able to start back working same day.

Very Powerful machine. I was a windows user. I see a very high performance change from windows to Mac. Really worth buying for Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists and other vide editing people. Battery life is un-imaginable

A little powerhouse. Works like a desktop. And this is the entry level M4 Pro MacBook. It's all snappy, and fluid. 30, 40 tabs in safari, with Photoshop moving large images (like multi-gb images), and InDesign open applying live blends and transparencies to large multi-page images (these aren't the craziest of tasks, but heavy enough...), and Parallels running an Win11 VM with Word and Excel running a bunch of docs in coherence mode ... at the same time...It just works fast under load. I have an 2022 HP Xeon workstation that would die doing that if it didn't have 128GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD swap drive (I have one at work, and I have seen it get bogged down). It's a Mac, so there are quirks built in. You're locked in the garden of Apple. Nice place and all. But I miss running the games I clearly have the horsepower to run, but the engine and fuel are all different (WinOS and Intel), so they won't drive right. MacOS - form your own opinion. Oh well. I like it ... now. And I can never forget this: $$$$ But since my gadgets (phone, tablet, watch, old MacBook etc.) are such great friends, it's really sweet. If you can afford it, get the 16 inch version with more cores, RAM, and a bigger SSD drive. But the entry level M4 Pro isn't anyone's slouch. I really love it.
